Suppose you were to change your set to the all 7 set on the come out Keep it till you establish a point If it is a field number, make the point your set. If it is not a field number make the point your set the way I make a set is to have the die facing each other, as an example, 8 is the point , you could do 5 on 1 and 3 on another or 4-4 facing each other My question, was I taught wrong ?
Ya know......I think that what keeps ( G) well grounded is that he's not a person that tosses because he just enjoys doing it . In, other words, when he tosses more than a hand, it's because he's working on either correcting a flaw on a current toss, or he's working on a different toss. Listen, Mssthis....we both know that after 5-10 years at this craft, you still enjoy working on new things, but it's more of discovering new things than it is perfecting old things, I don't nearly enjoy practicing as much as I used to.( maybe one reason is that my toss is " For shit" lol) Now, it's simply a matter of maintaining muscle memory. When I'm at ( G's), 90% of the time, he's working with me on something, or he's sitting at his computer. Only time he tosses is when I challenge him to beat the less than six 7's per 36 rolls thingy. Actually, if you didn't know any better, you'd think that he doesn't even enjoy tossing the dice. Lol
You were taught the impossible dream. Its impossible to set the dice as you described. 5 on one die, 3 on the other die, & 44 facing you? I need to order a pair of those dice. Lol
No I meant if the point is 8 place a four facing a four, that would be my set or 6 on one and 2 on the other for an 8 point.
Yep: Looks like I have to practice some now. Picked up new glasses and the dice are blurry at the far end of the table until I remember to look out the top half of my new glasses. I may try picking up a pair of single vision glasses for the casino since I only need the bifocals to read small print at close range.
This is Barney, Now I have never played the craps, but I watch the LID and the Dan Mahoney (a pro craps player) play at casino and shag the dices for the LID on practice table in goat shed. He always sets a Group 1 set on the coming out tosses of dices then switches to a Group 2 set after point game starts. He never switches dice set like the Billy personage but just watches his bouncing dices and bets what table is giving him...
Ron I wont say your wrong, who the hells knows...….and to be honest whenever you go to the table you dont know ahead of time. Ron the only thing that does not change is the dice, good dice, bad dice, there are only so many things a pair of dice can do, there are only so many numbers a pair of dice can land on. If you shoot a rifle, it shoots where in the hell it wants to.....so you adjust your scope to where it shots....now you can hit something. Your shot is giving you something if the shot is fairly good..... adjust your sets so you can make money tdb
I have to tell you, It makes me happy to have 75 or 50 bucks and walk away....I'll see all those guys at the table in awhile. 45 min break or more then back at it again...works for me !
There ya go!! When ya actually start employing that strategy, & those $50 wins for ONLY 15-20 minutes of play start adding up, & everyone is calling you a Pussy/Scaredy cat for leaving the table so early.....as you're at the Cage cashing in that measly win, & as you are on your way back to your room to relax for an hour before you repeat the next session, & as you are walking past the table wherein everyone called you a Pussy for quitting, & as you are laughing your Ass off, because those same guys that called you a Pussy are out of cash & the ability to get a " Marker".....don't forget that Old Top was the guy that told you...." A little bit can add up to a lot".
Ron Exactly right......look you and I are not broke, so if we wanted to be those Guys betting huge amounts of money, we would already be doing that.... so there is something about us that says that wont work for us...…..accept that and be happy. Remember the old saying......he who shits fast wont shit long..... tdb
I walk with small wins. I'm playing enough to know that if you are a regular player and try to "break the bank" each time....you'll walk with nothing a LOT of the time. Too many times, IMO. It's a "to each his own" type of play and why I harp what might be good for one guy is not good for the next....strategy wise, limits wise, etc. I consider it a victory of sorts...whatever the amount is. Case in point about going big, mind you, whatever floats your boat. Yesterday. A real gambling degenerate. Drops in $500. $250 on field. Roll 5. Another $250 on field. Roll 6. Puts in another $800 as fast as he can after a 7 out. Point is 10. $100 hard 10, $350 place 10, $350 buy 10. Rolls are 5-9-7. He's down $1,300 in about five rolls. Dumps in another $800....mind you this a process because now he's down to a few hundreds, $20's and $5's and is trying to get the bills in as fast as he can. 6 is the point. Puts $350 place 4. $350 buy 4. $100 hard 4. Rolls 9-8-5-7. $2,100 whoosh in about 10 minutes, probably less than 10 minutes. I've seen him do this regularly.
With some guys short rolls and SOME small wins is all their is they don't understand those small wins will beat you to death.
That would be 21 years of play for some. On the flip side I was at Caesars Vegas one afternoon and a guy with his "assistant" showed up with at least 25K in chocolate chips, it may have been more. He made a lone $25 DP with no odds. I didn't hang around long enough to see how he played or how he fared.
LOL... There’s another guy. Takes two machines. Puts about $1,000 in each. One machine is right side pass/come and the other is the exact opposite darkside don’t pass/don’t come. $2—$3 wagers. WTF?
The biggest cause for that problem is betting on anybody and everybody with enough strength to lift a pair of dice. A skilled DI who bets only when he has the dice eliminates the majority of the potential risk from the game He reserves his bankroll to bet on , THE ONE PERSON AT THE TABLE he can count on to produce enough numbers to afford him a winning session. He feels sure that if it is going to happen he will be the one that will make it happen , it is , therefore , foolish for him to risk his , BANKROLL on any other player. If two or more people play the exact same betting strategy with the same limits on the same shooter at the same time with the same bet amounts the results will all be the same. There is no , "What's good for one guy is not good for the next" There is only the right bet on the right number at the right time. Conditions change , "Bet what the dice give you".
Well, old Bone Thrower done got himself in hot water AGAIN. THIS time he pissed off the Dominator by using Dominator's name, & throwing style on a few of his YouTube videos. So.....the Dominator contacts Bone Thrower, & tells him that his name, & throwing style is copyrighted, & that he cannot use it without his permission. Lol What a FUCKING joke. Lol Some of these guys take this Dice Influencing stuff to the extreme, huh? You stole my toss. You used my name......HILARIOUS!!! The short version is that Dominator SUPPOSEDLY gave Bone Thrower a " Pass", & instructed Bone Thrower how to toss the Dominator toss.lol What's really hilarious is that the idiot Bone Thrower IMMEDIATELY makes a video called " A Class Act" hugging Dominator's nuts for NOT sending a lawyer after him for using his copyrighted name on Youtube. Lol. Now, get this.....In this video wherein he's hugging Dominator's nuts....he's tossing the EXACT toss that Dominator uses because Dominator told him NOT to curl his wrists & to keep the dice square to the table. YOU CANNOT MAKE THIS SH**T UP!! Lol
