I Post this as a COUNTER to the negativistic Post titled ""Play-to-Lose-for-a-change"". I think that a ""Play to Win"" Strategy would be much preferred! I find it Rather strange, but, the very title of the thread, (Play-to-Lose-for-a-change) implies that Every CRAPS player has to Lose! Taking most posts in that thread as fact, that would be true. Leaving only the influence that a SHOOTER may have over the DICE, as anyone's chance to be an overall WINNER! What Influences May a Player Have Over DICE? Thus I list some of the Influences That a Player May have Over Dice @ a Craps Table Below: 1) Picking a Casino to Play at 2) Picking a Table @ a Casino to Play at 3) Selecting the two Dice to Shoot @ a Table 4) Setting the DICE Prior to Shooting them 5) Technique of Shooting the DICE 6) Mind Over Matter Control Over the Dice 7) Selecting a Player to BET on @ the Casino, other than oneself 8) A Betting Strategy to use when Shooting or betting on other Shooters 9) Other things Now, with as many Variables & Interactions as listed above, why would anyone want to intentionally ""Shoot to Lose their own $$$ Bet @ a Craps Table???? eagleeye2
It may actually be possible. How else could one explain the ability of guys like Jack, and Tiger to hole so many putts in the clutch, putts they normally would make only 2-5% of the time.
Hell, even I could shoot a majority of winners with these. Isn't this covered in # more directly than #?
Will have to speak with EE about that, there could be a way, as long as opposite sides add up to seven.
I'm always tossing for a designated landing zone...like the front part of the PL, or the back side. Can't say it helps but it's a mental comfort.
von duck, I doubt that the nayswayers on this thread ever watched or Believed what Talents the Ancient Aliens actually had. (Series has been shown on the History Channel) Yes, History says that the "Gods" or "Ancient Aliens" Bred with the locals & that some humans TODAY have that "Ancient Alien" factor in their bodies! Could be a # 10 on my list! eagleeye2
Koko, Opposite Sides of CASINO DICE add to (7) by demand of the CASINO's! Yes, the Aliens Know Why! eagleeye2
EE, I am still at a loss on this as to the reason WHY? Not only do casino dice add to seven on all opposite sides, so do the dice used in monopoly and yahtzee. Honestly, I had never much thought about the reason why, but like most, was aware that it is the way things are. So what is the reason why?
We take offense to the term " ancient " I'm not even 200 yet. If each die has 6 sides, so 6 x 6 = 36. If each die contains 3, 7s, so 3x3 =9. So there are 9, rather than 6, 7s, contained within. I think this settles the matter.
Baron, Where were you taught the fuzzy math? Neither die contains any sevens. These are obviously the dice used by skilled, so-called DI's who do not throw any sevens.
