Very nice documentation. It can be pretty slow at that time of day. The incoming chumps haven’t arrived yet, and the overnights, are hung over still. Good photos, and a very nice “score”. Couple Grand, is a good day, by almost anybody’s standards. Keep on keepin on.
I misunderstood what you were saying, when you said, “reduced my exposure”. I thought you meant you pulled your pants up.
They have these mini bubble machines at the HR. There’s 4 of them back to back, but they’re not linked. One player per machine. The dice are about 2” near as I could tell. I haven’t played it yet, but I overheard someone saying they get all the time they need to “roll the dice.” It seems I’ve loaded these pics sideways. I’m having a hell of a time with this new phone. First Apple for me, and I’m not impressed.
V E R Y I M P R E S S I V E Just out of curiosity, does the Aruze roll to win game at HR, have chairs or not?
these individual bubbles are my favorite, dont have to wait for anyone.....bet, roll, bet roll, bet roll, the action is constant. I played it alot over a 2 day period at prarie meadows, and a board member met me there and played it alot also. I believe he really enjoyed this bubble.
Yes, but they’re not attached to the machine. I probably spend half my time standing behind my chair, and reaching over it. I drive 2 1/2 hrs. to get there. I’m plenty tired of sitting.
The one at Cherokee has attached swivel seats, and, they appear to be part of the design, perhaps an available accessory. You just about havevto stand, if you want a good look at the drop of the dice, and you see a lot of players alternating between standing and sitting. The seats are convenient, but I think they DO tend to draw “squatters”. One time, I saw a guy playing a small grind game, that was working on a crossword puzzle book, between come-outs.
The $5 min. is what keeps the chairs full. I’ve got no problem with somebody grinding it out with them. The angle of the screen, and the location of the slot, are designed for the player to be seated. If they intended for you to stand, they would have incorporated a “virtual rack”, for you to putt your virtual chips in. From my observation, and I’ve only seen the one at Cherokee, the machine has some control over the outcomes. This “dice control” is also present at the standard tables, at this venue, by my observations. Sometimes, they’ll throw you a game that’s hard to lose at, but not until THEIR money is in the bank. They know that “shear a sheep , skin a sheep” analogy, and it works pretty well for them. They have a monopoly on the action in that area, for now, but in a year or two, there will be serious competition both from the south (Catawba’s) and from the north, five casinos to be built in Virginia.
Not that I disagree with you, just looking at it from points of view, casino and di. Get the lumps out of the chairs, a virtual baby sitter.
For the players, this game works mu+h better as a sit down game, and should be set-up that way. I don’t think DI would be of any value at all on this table, no matter what your skill level might be. The dice are under some kind of house influence. It’s not as obvious as the bubble, but it has about the same “efficiency”. What IS obvious on this table, is that the dice, “stop too damned fast”, they come off the alligator, with their “brakes locked-up”. I’ve tried my best to get some “roll” out of them, by zinging them off the hook, to no avail, they still come off, “dead as a door nail”. In itself, this doesn’t really mean much, but, any apparent breech, of the laws of physics, at a craps table, should be considered a “smoking gun”, and the “shadow” of some unseen entity. This is one anomaly, of about a dozen or so, that I have identified at this venue. Any one of them, in itself might be ignored, but when considered collectively, they make a pretty “airtight” case, for game fixing, but not necessarily anything illegal, considering the location.
“Fools” said I, you do not know Silence like a cancer grows Hear my words that I might teach you Take my arms that I might reach you But the words....like silent raindrops fell And echoed in the well......of silence. And the people bowed and prayed To the neon god they made........................... Funkel Brothers. Simon and Gar.
I know some shills that will be devastated to hear this news. Should be some great alibis. Duck scores a direct hit! “Hit the yellow brick road, hit the yellow brick road”.
