Well, at least we know one guy isn't in the casino practicing what he preaches. Do'ers do.... Talkers talk....or read. OF COURSE there is good reason to start higher. MORE money is won if one starts higher. Last time I checked, I never met someone who said "no thanks" to more money. There's only ONE issue. Is the player actually skilled? If yes, there is absolutely no valid reason not to start higher...especially after years or decades of establishing the skill. If it's valid to start at $5....then it's valid to start at $1. Long roll is all that's required.
It is amazing how you make such bold statements about things you couldn't possibly know anything about. Yeah AND Do'ers talk and Talkers Do , it's like the best of both worlds. Generally speaking for the a great many players such is definitely not the case. Take you as an example , you are a self professed one dollar ($1) bubble player on here lecturing a CRAPS PLAYER on how he should be betting. You graduate to the craps table from the bubble slot , learn a bit about how craps players play the game , we can talk. Have you increased your bets over the years up to that one dollar??? or have you reduced it over the years to that one dollar figure??? Very interesting question. I know this is one of those great MISCONCEPTIONS that you labor under and that you have , "YOUR LITTLE GROUP" convinced is the way to go. The real tragedy is , I think you truly believe that crap. As I have said before , the key to a winning game is to risk as little of your own money as possible and be able to get that off the table and begin playing on the house's money money as early in the game as possible. Once you get to that position the casino has no way to beat you. So what we have here is a one dollar player attempting to lecture a craps player starting at table minimum he isn't betting enough. Yes there is I have explained it to you many times. The fact that you will not accept is the fact that to win you must control your losses. When I start with $5 pass , $10 odds and $27 across I have very little to recoup in the event of a short roll. With 3 hits of any box number I am money , up money on the table working and all my bankroll off the table. Then a few rolls later it's , "Miller Time" Nope , wrong again , You bet one number for $1 that roll would take weeks for you to come out ahead.
TDV I would hate to believe you really believe all the crap you post but you do post the same crap over and over so I must assume those are actually your opinions. So then it must be true , You moved half way across the country so you could be near a one dollar bubble craps. WOW. What some people will do.
"in addition to the very formidable practical problems, it is in no one's vested interest to actually prove the efficacy of DI"... This is part of a post from some time back when several of the "GROUP OF INSIDERS" were making every effort to get many on this forum , myself included , to stop talking about the value of Dice Influence / Control. One of these folks , addressing me , went so far as to say "What you are teaching is not real estate , what you are teaching is very dangerous to the casino industry , they could just simply bar you from playing , what then work at a convenience market??"
I wouldn't worry too much...unless Jacob steps up to the plate and fixes a 2 year headache of a problem, the forum and "craps winning" discussion is going to go bye bye...regardless. Jeez...what are you going to do?? Sneaky TDV....is able to stifle discussion and keep his cash cow intact without even trying. Traffic has dwindled to a snails pace. Last one turn out the lights....I have little faith that Jacob can and will fix the problem. The only ones left are those willing to take 20 minutes to put down a 1 paragraph post.
Holy shit....a James Hall sighting in Vegas!! Or maybe it's von duck! Anybody's guess. Zoom in if ya can't see him. Arm in the air.
Anybody's guess? No need to guess , THAT'S TDVeguess himself hustling tips for another exciting evening at the , "Red Rock one buck bubble". If you want to guess on something , How do you guess TDVeguess got all the way down there on his walker.???and where is his bicycle???
Your post probably lines out the problem pretty well. I have been going back thru old posts and have found that many very fine players have come and gone because of the flack they receive with their posts. Maybe Jacob just got tired of the contradictions and the criticism , a lot of the early members did.
If you go into Binions there and work your way back a ways and to the Left there's an Interblock Stadium game there with craps, Blackjack and Roulette. When we go to Fremont street we always park at Main Street Station, take the pedestrian bridge to the Cal, cut across the street to the back door of Binions and come out where you took the picture.
The place needs work. Don't think I've ever seen carpeting in a casino in such bad shape. I know it has the old time charm...but they could throw a few bucks at maintenance instead of buying new slots. Totally forgot to go into the Golden Gate and have their signature shrimp cocktail. The new Casino by Derek Stevens has about 4 floors built. Downtown was fairly busy. El Cortez, D, Grand, Golden Nugget. Drove over to Palace Station on Sahara for the first time. Oyster Bar. Great seafood. Casino was renovated recently. Nice.
"Probably lines out the problem pretty well?" Jeez AssHall, That must have hurt like hell to choke that one out. Bet you'd like to take it back hu?
What are you doing on here posting?? Shouldn't you be at WORK?? Oh that's right this is SUNDAY the mill where you WORK must give you a day off from time to time. I think they have to do that now , RIGHT??
