Beau rivage opened there reservations for July not to long ago I'll stick there over hard rock only because last trip there were no 10 dollar tables at hard rock Have no clue what pandemic Biloxi looks like I'm hoping by July all is close to the old normal
I do not have a choice anymore....I can only travel when schools are out of session. thats julyl and august up here and whats the difference, we had plenty of 90 plus degree days up here this year...with heavy humidity, and it was cooler in certain parts of florida. last time we went to biloxi in sept, it was the hottest sept on record for the entire south....close to 100 or over every day wherever we went. shit, it was 96 degrees in late sept when we hit norfolk on the way back....the car said 98.
I'll take the heat over the cold any day. Back in the late 90's I went to see a girlfriends daughter stationed at Marathon in the Coast Guard. I was playing golf in the afternoons and usually had the course to myself. Loved it. We went and gambled on a small boat at key Largo. My girlfriend got sea sick and was barfing in a trash can. Playing craps on a table that was moving with the waves was an experience.
when I first had kids, my grandparents were still alive. they lived in florida in a development that had a 9 hole golf course...I cant recall the name. we were down there in july. one morning around 10 I asked my grandfather if there was anyway I could rent clubs and play as a guest. Im not a golfer, played a bit here and there....horrible at best...but figured, hey, when i rome....so he laughed at me, took me to storage area....50 sets of clubs, take any set you want....everyone is in New york or up north, you can borrow anyones clubs, they dont care. so I take a nice set and head over...its me and one employee. he says, ya know its 98 with heavy humidity, do you really want to play a round now? I go out there....no carts...its all walking....after a few holes....I take my shirt off....I mean its fucking hot....Im bouncing golf balls off of condo windows galore....but having fun. as many shots as I want....noone playing except me....not 3 minutes after I take my shirt off, out on a cart comes the guy, the starter? he tells me I cant play without a shirt...really? 100 fucking degrees, noone on the course, noone even in the development....he says, rules are rules.....played one more hole, packed it in. I thought it was funny.what a hump that guy was.

This is Barney I feel your pain. The LID gets out to the casinos all the time, although he is much younger than me and claims to have had corona six or sevens time. Poor Barney is stuck in this facility and I haven't left it in over a year and half. I've been so board that I recently started tossing turds into the urinals hear eventhough I dont play the game of crap and this pisses off the nurses a mostly greatest deal. there better be no snow storms forcast for presidents week....seems foxwoods is running with limited help as alot of the food venues are closed during the week, and thats when I go......I dont even know which casinos or areas will be open during week, what they post and what actually happens is always different. what I do know is no masks required anywhere.....casino or hotel areas.....thats a plus for me.

if anyone is around sunday I will be in mohegan sun, but only for a couople of hours most likely early evening. from monday thru thursday will be af foxwoods, foxwoods, I have no clue whats going on there, if any bubbles are left, if all casinos will be opened or closed, but no masks mandates so Im good with that. the suite we booked we paid 225 per night. I looked yesterday, the same suite they are asking 453 per night for same three nights. outrageous but I guess they are getting it.

A huge fabric quilting store Then over to Mohegan sun fucking ridiculous I didn't count how many tables but 2 were 100 dollar min and 2 were 50 dollar min The remaining 2 or 3 were 25 dollar min and there were no spots on those tables I would not play 25 dollar min I don't need to I was pissed off Thought about heading over to foxwoods but decided to split early Went to ninos Italian for early dinner and we decided not to go back to Mohegan Fuck it My wife played a bit and left down 10 dollars I played at the electronic stadium seating with blackjack baccarat and roulette no bubble I played blackjack and it was brutal I get 20 dealer pulls 21 I get 19 dealer pulls 20 Tuff room We are not in a Casino hotel tonight but tomorrow at foxwoods we have a huge suite for 3 nights If there are no tables less than 25 min I will go home either tues or weds And if foxwoods doesn't have any 15 dollar tables this week we will never be back up here to play This is bullshit They are paying a full crew to man tables and there were only 4-5 players between both 100 dollar min tables If this trend continues in north east casinos I won't be playing anymore I can afford 25 dollar tables but I don't want it I'll find another casino
