The thought came to me away from the table a long time ago just after a "drive by" I made at the table. I tossed a $20.00 "during" the come out toss and just blurted out "$20 dont pass". The dice settled as the Box was picking up my money saying "bet", as the stick was placing the puck on the 5 but the dealer was unhappy with the timing and said something to try and void the bet. As they looked at each other the dealer was handed the chips, and gave me the stinkeye. I just said "If it were a 7?". He set down the chips and said BET THE DONT PASS BEFORE THE COMEOUT. Next toss was a 7 and the dealer waited till last to pay me off. So I knew this but I was trolling to see where Duck was hiding and just like "Shave & a Haircut gets the "Toons" to appear. Asking a dice question usually attracts the Duck. Helpful person he is. But if one is taking down numbers because they feel the 7 is coming. Why not make a wager for the 7 & hope you get past the next toss, or set, as it wont hurt.
It would depend on how many pages it takes to make a "book". Question, how many "shots" have you had, say, in the last couple hours? Did you write the book of love And do you have faith in God above Everybody tells you so. Well do you believe in "rock & roll" Can music save your mortal soul...................
I've been inside the 16 inch gun turret. Not on the Iowa, but on the Alabama, which is on display in Mobile Bay. Projectiles weigh 2200 lbs and are fired by 550 lbs of powder.
