Getting a little antsy not tossin any bones in months. Seems my wife needs a sister get together so off we go next week for a few days. I'm thinking a few short sessions in Dubuque. Does anyone know if the tables are open in Diamond Jims or the old Q whatever they call it these days??

It's called Mystic (Misteek). Had a brain fart yesterday. If you like being on a table alone thats the place for you. I have been there at least a dozen times and have seen more crew then shooters by about 80%. Tables constantly took my money and all/everyone elts it seemed too cept one time where everyone was making money. All 4 of us. Never seen the table not manned. Djims owes me. Going to go dark again. Driving over on Tuesday to Galena Territories so may make it Friday night. Have more then once dropped a $20. on the Don,t Pass and hit it. Picked it up and walked to the window. Last time I tried doubling every loss figuring the shooter cant make another point but did it 4 times and ate my bankroll for the night. That stung. Took about ten minutes or so.
Her cousin owns, arguably the most successful tourist trap shop in the city. She always brings home some stupid item she got such a great deal on. It's amazing what she has in the shop and what sells. All during the economic downturns she did well. The beer brewer is turning 80 so we are gonna have a surprise party for him. Drama Drama Drama... Good food though.
Was hoping to make a decent report on this however the fear of covid in the household prevented me from going anywhere. So 3 bloody mary;s, two Manhattans, a couple beer chasers topped off with about 5 ounces of Brandy on ice (i tried to finish the bottle. big mistake) and two more beers to polish it off. I finally passed out. It took all day.

The so called experts claim mouthwash helps prevent covid. Alcohol is extra strength mouthwash. I'm glad I don't have to fight that battle. The wife, kids and grandkids are all like minded that it isn't anything to be afraid of.
