My wife and I wanted to get out today.Aftef being ingrained with election recaps, protests, snowflakes, cry zones,and those noble " therapy dogs" it was time to go out and eat and take a run to Foxwoods where I may get a hand in. Yes after an hour was at the exact shooting spot I had 2 months ago.Playing 2 bets.Made my pass line bet and also hit on the CO.Next point 10 - seemed out- up $5 which I will gladly take. It is about how much you lose which will always " Trump" out how much you win.was the 6 th straight hand which I at least made my point.Shot looked great- time to reload.

I'm chiming in here just to state that when I went out to my car at about 7PM after 10 hours in the office today, I picked up a $20 bill just sitting in the parking lot, and I'm not even a DI.

I spent 4 days in Biloxi a little over a month ago. Played lots of sessions, some winners, some losers. I wasn't really keeping track, but I was pretty sure it wasn't too much, one way or the other. When I was ready to leave town, I counted the money in my pocket. It was exactly the same, to the dollar, as when I got to town. That seemed impossible to me, but there it was. So my "win" was whatever I spent on food while there. However, I paid for the room with a card, so that wasn't included.
I stayed home today. Don't know what possessed me to vacuum the couch. Picked up the middle cushion and there it was: A CHIP TREE! Who'd a-thunk it? Must have been there a while as I can't remember when corn chips were blue and furry. Does explain why my dogs have been constantly digging at the furniture before lying on it, however. Anyway, I think I'll count that as a win. Edit addition: Probably should have started a new thread. Sorry.
Why doesn't somebody start a thread based on the primary question of CRAPS 1) .If there is no betting strategy that can beat the HA / house advantage ,, and 2) if no one can influence the outcome of the dice which seem to be the 2 dominant opinions on this forum WHAT DO WE HAVE LEFT we all know luck does not exist , and we also know that variance is so infrequent and fleeting that it makes winning almost impossible so then the question has to be WHAT DO WE REALLY HAVE LEFT ? Is playing craps simply an exercise in futility ? If there is nothing WE CAN DO to cause a winning roll if we don't have that , then what , what is left Just keep hoping ? , Continue losing ?
You don't speak for all when you say "we know"....."luck does not exist." Variance IS luck. If luck does not exist, neither does variance. Yet you just said variance exists. Variance is infrequent? Really? You track 36 rolls and the expectations work out exactly as they are supposed to each time? I'll give you 100 sets of 36 rolls (3,600 rolls for you) and I say variance happens in every single set of 36. That's infrequent? LOL....Fleeting? LOL.
