try the inline 6s with 5s facing but play the field and the 7 as a hedge
Thanks James. I'll give it a shot. Maybe I'll be posting a chip stack pic!
A real one we hope.
Too late. Over on Roulette Forum I have seen mention of RRS, Random Rotor System. Not being all that into Roulette I know only that such wheels do not spin freely, rather they are "spun" by some servo mechanism which randomly varies their speed. This defeats any method I am aware of (e.g Visual Ballistics) for predicting where the ball will land.
RRS with a servo stepping motor? Sounds like a game to avoid.
That is basically what I gather the "experts" are saying. Of course the conspiracy theorists are having an orgasim over the thought that the computer controlling the wheel is calculating the optimal place for the ball to land for maximum house profit and adjusting the rotor speed accordingly (instead of randomly). Even without such shenanigans prediction methods depend on the characteristics of the equipment remaining constant during the spin.
You have a link for that roulette forum? I'm curious how to spot one of these RRS wheels?
IMHO the link is supremely appropriate. The thread starts out specifically discussing RRS wheels and degenerates into a flame war. You should feel right at home!
You might notice that there is a link to Craps Forum there. Jacob originally had several forums which used the same forum software and were linked to each other. Craps and Roulette were the only ones that had any activity to speak of so Jacob archived and deactivated the rest except Twentyone Forum, which I can only guess he retained because it is the most popular table game in the casino.
In February, 2014, Jacob upgraded Craps Forum to its current software platform. He left the other two forums on their old platforms because their activity did not justify the additional licensing fees associated with the new software.
This website pretty much explains the evils of RRS roulette wheels. Thanks for the heads up! Another reason to pay attention, when reading this forum. You might learn something.
What a concept! Reading the promotional material gaming equipment manufacturers present to their prospective customers. Let's just pray the gaming industry doesn't think of eavesdropping in our advantage play discussions here and in other forums.
Education requires students to have sockets available to receive input. While catching up on forum activity the last few days I have noticed (again) that some members have converted all sockets to output only.
