Not the CFP Championship Game this time, but still #12 Oregon at #3 Ohio State. Who's ready for the Buckeyes to boat race the Ducks on Saturday?

If Oregon cannot beat those “chumps” then they are not worthy of the name “DUCKS”
A “boat race” is a contest of speed, between two water going vessels, and often cheated on, by Kiwi’s. :)

Get off the baron's back NA, you fricking closet DI you.

After all, he does have a secret method of play (craps) that you don't need to know anything about, BUT, if curious about the s0-called secret, you can get Cheka on the horn, and ask for Svetlana.

Oh, and if you get too curious about certain things, THIS might happen to you, instead of some other "curious maa-fucker."

Note: for best effect, enlarge photo and shift down and right.

Fixed horse races are also called Boat Races, where the finish has been predetermined (by the jockeys).

In horse racing it doesn’t have to be a fixed race, just a race between slow horses, but if a GDed Kiwi knows about it, he’lol be trying to fix it.

DAL @ TB tonight kicks off the NFL season.

-17 game season moves Super Bowl back 1 week. Still 1 week byes.
-Excessive showboating will draw a 15 yard penalty. No Fun League?
-How will Covid impact the season?
    -Will the millionaires kneel?
-How will America respond to the A/A anthem?
-KC and defending champion TB favorites to win conferences.

I'll take Cowboys & points for $11 :)oops:), as long as I'm getting 10 or more points.

Back to thread topic, I'm seeing my Pitt Panthers either:

    (A) winning it all this year
    (B) winning whatever ACC division they are in
    (C) getting back to the old "All Day I Dream About Sex" threads
    (D) dreaming for a 10 win season
    (E) my favorite option, whichever answer is closest to correct.

The Ravens lost two more stud players today, Gus Edwards and Marcus Peters. Both suffered ACL injuries at practice today. JK Dobbins went down two weeks ago with a season ending knee injury.

Could it be the turf on their practice facility?

I’d suggest betting the Browns to win the division if you can get +150 odds.

although I do not follow the NFL very closely at all anymore, I wouldn't suggest that MI. I'm thinking Steelers or Bungles.

Just don't get the baron involved in this because it'll become a fucking secret, although we could call Cheka (and ask for Svetlana).

May I suggest a friendly wager? I will take the Browns and give you the Steelers and the Bengals to win the division. Loser buys dinner at Primante Bros in Boardman (about midpoint from our homes). If Baltimore wins the division, there is no blood.

    OK?

If you want to include wives, that’s fine with me.

Hang on a minute, the loser has to hand over his wife as well? I suggest the loser throws in a ham as well just to make it interesting.

Never. That rapscallion is fair game.
As far as his secret is concerned I suggest someone pumps him thoroughly in the debriefing room.

I was kind of hinting at some insider information so I can get a bet down. But surprisingly this boat race analogy may be useful as there is a bet available where a team can lead at every change, or from go to woe, or even a money line bet. i'll check it out and may add it to my 'easy money' thread.

Hang on to your coupons duck.

I'm staying away from this one, as Ohio State is now -14.5 (opened at -12.5). Unknown whether Ducks' star player DE Kayvon Thibodeaux, injured in game against Fresno State, will play. He's a projected Top 3 pick in the upcoming NFL Draft. Think Chase Young / Nick & Joey Bosa type player, but on the wrong team. Also, not enough game experience yet for Ohio State QB CJ Stroud.

I think Ohio State will win, but the moneyline bet is -625 for the Buckeyes. That's way worse than laying a 4 (or 10). ML for Oregon is +485.

A lot of people on Elevenwarriors (Ohio State fan site) think the Buckeyes will win by 20+. Perhaps drinking a bit too much Kool-Aid. It looked like Ohio State "held back" a bit on the game plan against Minnesota. They rotated a lot of players trying to figure out combinations to use going forward. In addition, both projected starting corners and the starting center didn't play at all for the Buckeyes in that game.
