I do generally enjoy shooting, but occasionally feel really off. I have had a couple of really great rolls, and a lot more mediocre ones. Before I really knew what I was doing, I actually had a roll where I hit 5 points in New Orleans. It was great! Though, I only bet on the pass-line as I really just didn't understand the wager options. Some folks at the table actually made bets for me that evening. Like I was a dealer. I think they realized that I had no idea what was going on-It was probably nearly 45 minutes. People were making prop bets like crazy. I walked away with about $150 in as a result of those gifted rolls, and another $70 as result of my own rolling. After that experience, I started studying the game. I realize now that they had made fire bets on me and that I consistently threw a ton of hard numbers, snake eyes, box cards and yos after making a come-out point. So the prop bets were hot and profitable. And some were very happy with what I had rolled. As for mannerisms. I realized that during the roll in NOLA, I was constantly rubbing my palms together between each roll. I was trying to keep my hand and the dice hot So I continue to do that when I am shooting. I set the dice, too.
