Right now I play at Harrah's in Metropolis, Ill., I live just across the river in Kentucky....25 minute drive. In the winter, I am in San Diego, and play the Barona Indian casino mostly, but they have about 6 or 7 in the county.

The winter is when I do the Vegas trips. And on the way out west, I go through Reno sometimes, then up to Portland....hit the casinos along the way, Wild Horse and Seven Feathers (one of my favorites).

In Vegas, I like downtown, always have, but play the strip casinos on occasion. Last couple of trips, I also played at Red Rock, I know some people on here don't like the tables there, but it is a nice casino, and in a beautiful surrounding....a break from the street scene downtown. :)

I know you don't divulge much, but what casinos are your go to ones in Vegas?

Damn, you are old, lol. First it was IBM mainframes and punch cards, now you've been married 42 years. Do you still have your collection of 78s? :D

All kidding aside, congratulations on your 42nd anniversary. Best wishes for health, happiness, and prosperity for both of you.

Used to be the CET / TR casinos - as my wife and I were both Diamond Status for quite a few years -

However, since recently , when they opted to cut back - BIG TIME - on the little things -

    We virtually abandoned them -

To be quite frank - I have NO allegiance to ANY particular property / entity -

We have changed our style of play and are NOT at all interested in giving ANYONE information about us -

I prefer to " fly under the radar " and let them take their silly little gifts and deposit them ...... -

I / we - the wife and I - prefer to play in under-populated conditions - tables that are vacant or with a few players -

I am NOT one to socialize at the table - NEVER had that desire before and hopefully NEVER WILL -

Even when we played on the team in NJ - everyone at the table had the "THIS is Business " attitude -

Our sole objective is to liberate as much $$$$ from these legalized thieves as we possibly can -

WITHOUT jeopardizing ourselves and / or cutting our own throats during the process !

Even though I play a lot at the local casino, I don't have a players card now. When I came back here, I checked my card, and it didn't have any credits on it. I asked at the promo desk, and they said they wipe all the points off if you don't play for a certain period of time. I handed them my card and said, "No thanks, I'll just opt out of your promotions and points system.", cut off my nose to spite my face.

But there is no flying under the radar there for me anyway......it's like Cheers, everybody knows my name! :)

    You are correct but:
Playing at home can definitely improve yer game as for all the reasons you listed in your, 'come out'.
You might need to work on your set up. How you square up to the table and concentrate on yer grip, your breathing, focusing on Yer target. If you believe in DI at all, there's room for improvement which comes from dedicated training. Don't think for a second that you can not learn from practicing at home, again for all those reasons you mentioned in your come out.

I've been playing for a month after playing around at the house for about 4 months. First 1st trip with 300 bankroll Lost it all but realized the table wasn't any different and wasn't nervous as thought I would be. At that point I never got down deep into betting strategies just having fun with throwing dice . Second trip same 300 left 150 ahead after 5 hours. Had 2 really good rolls and people around me made some good money. I myself made hardly any with money on 6 and 8 and never pressed. The guy next to me had 15 left and ended up with 800 after my first roll. Then I just wanted dice and it was a grind waiting all those turns to get dice back. Then after a second good roll on another table I felt like damn this is really working... Then the next 3 rolls get point and 7 out. Got some good advise on the betting part of it and I focused heavy on studying that aspect of the game. Then next trip on a cruise won 150 ahead after 300 buy in. Im thinking this isn't worth it for that.. I have hour drive to nearest casino. So then take trip to horseshoe with girlfriend and rolled for what seemed like eternity to me but who knows but I pressed and pressed and then hit the ats with 5 5 5 on it. That rush was a feeling like no other with everyone high fiving you and then that money came out. I was like damn. Left with 3200 that night with a 200 buy in. A guy next to me hit ats as well not long after I did. Left there feeling like some king or something. So rushed back a few days later and could not roll anything but a seven. Lost 400 taking out another 100 past my 300 limit. Thinking I'll get it this time. So left there confused on what happened. So then 2 weeks later take 5 grand from elderado .. Hit ats twice and someone else did as well..And I felt like I could avoid 7 forever. What I figured out was that people do have awesome rolls that just grab and throw .. And to ride that wave because it's coming at some point you just have to see it early on... So then 2 trips at a loss of 200 after that. So I figured the way to make the bug money is to go after the ats...and if I can't someone always does... Last night took 6 grand home . Hit ats twice and someone else did as well. I put 15 10 15 .. And always get to a dam number for each . Last night was 4 and 9 that can't hit to get the ats for the life of me.. But I had 100 to 200 on everything .. Including the 2,3, 11, and 12...crapless table which I love those odds payouts. So I also figured out how important it is to get the dealers in the game. I put them 5 5 5 and number as well... They get you the dice fast and make sure they do whatever to help u win. But I don't know if I'm just lucky as hell but I do average 10 to 20 rolls and more when I'm on probably 4 or 5 rolls last night to my quick 7 outs like 2 of them. But then there are those that always have good rolls of 10 or more as well and they grab and throw. So I don't know at this point.about any of it.. But makes you wonder why they spend so much time trying to have these little classes etc.. Because if I win like I did this past month and can't see myself doing shit else but throwing dice against my bathroom wall while I'm sitting on the toilet from that point foward and damn sure wouldn't be telling everyone how to do it so it can't be shut down.

I agree 100% if your SRR is between 10-20 and you can make several thousand every time you play...I would never take a class

I would think if a guy has a large SRR he has probably
already had many classes / a lot of training

Not this guy, he just started and thinks this is easy.

I cant say much I guess after my second GTC class I went
on a hell of a run.... I started to think this was easy also.

All I know I hope everyone wins, even the $1 bubble guy

Not actually my SRR. I'll have 3 to 4 of those with 2 to 3 7 outs on 3 or 4th roll.
