You need to read the statement , I didn't say "I only gamble when I need to" This is another of your games
Sorry pal...the statement is clear. I'm going to put forth my best Vincent Bugliosi There is but ONE conclusion. That is you claim going to the casino for a need implies an ability to win at will...much like a person "wanting or needing" money and going to an ATM. Inserting "or" implies it could be one or the other. I understand the "want" part of going to Vegas. We ALL want to go to Vegas. "Need"....as in "need money" implies something else.
That is not true at all. I have no desire to go vegas. If i should ever end up in vegas it woud not be to go to play craps as the main reason. I sm sure i would play craps though if i happened to go. I would rather go to Biloxi i have enjoyed the couple of trips i made down there. But i went fown to that area for work anf not to go to the casino. I usually go to casinos only since it is convenient from whrn i travel for work.
Nope , several people could read that statement as I originally posted it and draw several different conclusions It is very obvious what conclusion you would have people come to Inserting OR implies it could be one or the other or as originally posted it could indicate neither , both or one of the four so oft used excuses I do not sit and labor over the purpose of the trip I am not sitting in my very expensive recliner in my new home in that middle class neighborhood you mentioned in one of your posts thinking which of those very applicable excuses / reasons should I use this time 1) Parker has a plane payment due 2) Glen's ranch obligations are due this quarter 3) Baby needs a new pair of shoes 4) then there's always Leon's reasons to consider We can't forget Leon 5) and last but by no means least , sometimes Jimmy JUST needs to go to just get out of the house Yep there are those times when Jimmy JUST NEEDS TO GO
EagleEye: Your question is My reply is yes Then you come back with this: HornHiYio, ""Yes"", Then try APPLYING IT! eagleeye2[/QUOTE] So this is my reply to your last post to me: Ever hear the statement “Going off Half Cocked?” You do not know me, I do not know you and you have never seen my play. Therefore, you have no idea when, where, or what I do or do not choose to apply. It seems you have a thought and like most Short Bussers you automatically assume your thoughts dictate what other people do or don’t do. I doubt all your thoughts come close to dictating everthing you do. What makes you think your thoughts dictate what I do. You have no clue. DUH! Cheers!
If I may be so bold to offer an opinion on what an opinion is, and how it differs from a fact, ... A FACT can be verified. If I state as fact that Sacramento is the capital of California and am challenged I can cite accepted sources that agree with me. An OPINION can only be supported. If I state as an opinion that California should be split into multiple states and am challenged I can argue my point with logic and references to others holding the same or a similar opinion. An opinion is debatable; a fact is not.
Of course I’m partial...but I’m a firm believer than everyone should visit Vegas at least once in their life. It’s an amazing experience....and I’m not even referencing the gambling.
You're right, although "AssHall is a troll" is an opinion of DeMango. It does seem like it is much agreed upon.
I do a lot of gaming from east coast thru Midwest Been to Vegas maybe 35 times I dunno maybe more While I don't need Vegas for craps it's still an exciting and invigorating experience every time we make the trip There's so much to do there is one seeks out other adventures And it's a beautiful state if you enjoy the open space and incredible weather the RIGHT time of the year(for me that's April or October)
Only place in the world where you can see a pyramid, the statue of liberty, Eiffel tower, Venice, Graceland and more all in the same day. Vegas is worth the trip even if you don't gamble. I still haven't made it out to see the new bridge below the Hoover dam or the Mob museum and several other places I want to visit there.
Highly recommend Red Rock Canyon and Valley of Fire, if you get a chance. We did the Pink Jeeps tour of Red Rocks, which was fantastic due to our driver was so knowledgeable about the area, the dude was like John Muir. There’s a spring there, so we even saw a fox in the middle of the day in the frigging desert. Only drawback was the pink Jeep that we got was a Dodge Ram dually set up with seats over the rear axle. Suffice it to say, your ass and spine will get hammered.
