    yor logic is flawed
I don't have to know how to build a tv to watch one
once I have done the math and have decided not to play a bet because IT SUCKS I don't have to obsess over the math
if the bet sucks move on play the bets that DON'T SUCK
why would anyone go thru a thought process
"OK let's see play the 6 play the 8 but don't play the come it sucks oh yeah don't play the horn or the yo or the world they all suck"
my thing if they SUCK don't obsess don't play them move on
    and they do suck
I'm glad you have fun memorizing useless facts
there is a book in the book stores one million and one useless facts just $29.95
and it has a 50% rebate coupon included
    but thanks for sharing

And I don't need to listen to your crap either, doesn't change the game one bit.

OK on a hard way bet say the 8 there are how many ways to win and how many ways to lose? I need your expert knowledge James Hall. I do like how before he starts talking about hot idiots use math and the he uses it to state why a bet does or does not suck. I thought DI James didn't care about the math since he controls his own fate. Kinda sounds like the Matrix a little. Does that make Obie the oracle?

Depending upon how a shooter throws, the Small, Tall, All bet; despite it's 7% house advantage, can be a GOOD Bet!

Last time I played Craps, I hit a Tall in one secession & a Small in a second secession. Considering that I threw three times each secession, with a 34 to one payout & three $5 bets each, the payout was (34*5*2)-(5*3*3*2) = $250 which was just a bit more that I walked away with, thus that prop bet, avoided a small loss in the process.

No, I only bet the STA on myself. If I see a player hit it, I would likely bet on them on a subsequent roll.

Bullshit you need to read eagle eyes post on why opposite sides of the dice add to 7. And with casinos cheating with bias dice no way your hitting STA BET. Eagle doesn't condone misinformation being spread.

I can follow along real well, sometimes people are just more confident than others. People in society just hate that about others and they tend to make comments and posts that try to undermine that person, when you have no idea what the heck is going on but think you do.

well like i said, i am fairly uninterested in this "sock puppet" thing but i guess i did stick my neck out and now you are involving me further and my keenly honed mental "ignore" function was not engaged reading your response so here goes...

i "know" nothing. and neither do you, methinks...we are both in the realm of opinions or beliefs

their "total aspect" in their actual posts are just too different...braggadocio aside i think they are both pretty smart but not THAT smart to be able to put forth such antipodal styles and manipulation of language...seems incongruous to me that they are one and the same is all...

some of this is pretty subtle and quite frankly the words to describe these differences clearly are escaping me just now...

if in fact they are one and the same, they are pulling off the charade quite brilliantly in the "tone" and the "mien" they put forth (i keep saying "they") in the actual, real body of the texts that i see here...plus i "know" basically nothing about either of them---tho as i said earlier regarding hall and the same applies to harley, i could sit down and have a beer with either of them...

i realize this is not much of a satisfactory answer or response and it is mostly a "feelings" or tone type thing...

it sounds like you might know something about harley & i really don't (my highly developed skimming skills are often in play once things drift off into personalities or pissing matches) so why do you think they are one and the same?

    Edward-ky,

    You are STUPID, beyond belief!

First, what I posted is FACT, your B.S. & LIES to the contrary.

Second, I follow my own advice, DUH!

Advice: BASIC Facts of Current Casino Practices, i.e. the frequent use of Biased Dice.

    FACT IS:
Any Person that would not monitor a Craps Table, to establish Casino Use of Straight, or Biased Dice, in TODAY's Casino Environment, happens to be a TOTAL AMATEUR Craps Player, period!

Yes, Edwared=ky just verified that if he plays CRAPS at all, he is a rank amateur at the game.

You see, unlike the B.S. you post, not all Dice in Casino's are Biased. I monitor Dice Used in a Casino Prior to Playing there, thus I only play against FAIR DICE, unlike you.

Yes, the Brain Trust group posts scads of useless posts attacking those on this thread that make an effort to help the folks out there, yet if they play CRAPS at all, claim to enjoy playing against BIASED DICE in Casino!

What a HOOT those Brain Trust members are!

    HOOT

    Per Edweard-ky's request:

ANSWER TO ~ Why do Opposite Sides of Casino Dice Add to "SEVEN"

I will start with the BASICS:

ODDS & Casino Pay-Outs (which include the Casino's Take or House Advantage, HA) are Statistically Calculated based upon the assumption that each side of both Dice in Play, has an EQUAL CHANCE of landing FACE UP, when thrown on a Craps Table.

We then have what are called Fair, Balanced, Perfect, or Straight Dice. These Dice are the ones that one wants to play with, in most instances.

In the game of Craps, two of these dice are thrown down a Craps Table & the SUM of the #'s appearing on the UP SIDE of each Die, are added together.

Casino Dice have SIX (6) sides, or Faces, each containing one of the #'s 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6. Which when added together give us the #'s Two (2) to Twelve (12).

I will dispense with the myriad of numbers & events which one can bet on in Craps, & only state here, that once a POINT has been established, throwing any SEVEN (7) results in all but don't bets being taken down thereby & surrendered to the casino.

CORRECT ANSWER ~ Casino's Demand that Opposite SIDES of DICE ADD to (7), as with that configuration, whenever any weight Unbalance Occurs, it automatically INCREASES the Frequency of SEVENS that are thrown with those DICE!

Thus as I have stated, Casino's Do Not Care if DICE are Unbalanced as any unbalance Favors the Casino.

    Verification FOLLOWS:
    ~~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ THEORETICAL NUMBER SHOWN ON DIE UP FACE
    (A) Die # 1 Random Numbers ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~1 ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ 2 ~ ~ ~ ~ 3 ~ ~ ~ ~ 4 ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ 5 ~ ~ ~ 6
    Properly Balanced Die

    (B) Theoretical Dist. 100 Throws ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ 10 ~ ~ ~ ~ 10 ~ ~ ~ ~10~ ~ ~ ~10 ~ ~ ~ ~ 10 ~ ~ ~10
    (C) Die # 2 BIASED ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~40
    (D) Example here Heavy 6 Face ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~1 ~ ~ ~ ~ ~2 ~ ~ ~ ~ ~3 ~ ~ ~ ~ 4 ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ 5 ~ ~ ~ ~6

In (A) above, we have DIE #1, producing random #'s from 1 to 6 as shown.
    `
In (B) above, we have DIE # 2, producing a Highly Biased distribution as shown .

Applying a bit of mathematics, to the 60 throws shown across (B) above we can NULL them out, leaving 40 #1's in (C) to match with the random #'s shown across (A) above, I.e. #'s 1 to 6.

This absolutely results in Significantly more SEVENS than would occur if both Dice were Properly Balanced and NOT Weight Biased, as was the Die in (B) above, which produced the hypothetical Distribution (Dist.) shown across (B).

This INCREASE in 7's results directly from opposite sides of a DIE adding to SEVEN!
In the example above, More 7's, as, once we NULL them out, there is no longer any ADDITIVE #'s from the 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6, in (D) above. Thus none of the 40 (C) #'s can exceed 7, as we ADD only (1's) to the Random Distribution of #'s 1 to 6, in (A) above.

This EXACT same INCREASE in (7'S) would occur if the 40 in (C) were attributed to unbalance
resulting in faces 2, or 3, or 4, or 5, or 6 showing UP, due to HEAVIER Opposite Faces.

Note: in addition to 7's, we will also have a corresponding increase in the SUM of the 40 EXTRA
    (1)'s added to the #'s 1, 2, 3,4,& 5 left from the Random Distribution, or in this case 2's, 3's, 4's,
5's & 6's in the example shown above.

The Casino, however, cares only about the Numerous EXTRA (7's) produced in this Biased Dice Example, as the #7, when thrown, TAKES DOWN all Do Bets on the Table in a throw of the Dice.

Yes, Casino's Insist that Opposite Sides of a DIE add to SEVEN, as any Weight Unbalance
whatsoever, favors the Casino, in that MORE than the Statistically Correct # of SEVENS will
automatically occur, whenever there is a Weight UNBALANCE in the DICE!
