This morning my goal was to use a hit and run strategy that I read someone here advocating. (20min.)

Two hours later later I colored up +$13 dollars after tips.

    The details; BI $300 at a $5 table. When I placed 180 for a 5,6,8 a few numbers would roll before a 7out, once a PSO. At least 3x.

Then I'd crawl back with a single unit same bet long roll 5,6,8,9 that looking back if I had parleyed or started out with with $60 inside I could have left with 6-8 hundred...and this happened 3 or 4 times.

Played 6 horns and lost them all. Played a few hardways the 1st time and it they payed off.

Only 1 player PSO. I only to shoot once to give you seasoned players an idea how long some rolls were.

imo I failed to capitalized on a good table, a more savvy player would have cleaned up.

Got to say it was the 1st time I really enjoyed myself.

So far I've won 2 lost 2 and am down $80.

If you failed to capitalize on a good run....that's not your fault. You can't predict when that wil happen or if a trend will continue. You could have easily bumped your bets higher...then the dreaded 7 hits.

After the fact beating yourself up about missing a long roll happens to us all. Anyone saying they can see a long roll is going to happen is simply guessing IMO....sometimes they'll be right, others times they'll be wrong.

    Enjoy. Have fun....win.

    Pressit,

Although I have played for years, this is the only board I have been on, and only for about 3 years. When was the war to which you refer, and who were notables on each side? What exactly was the problem between what I assume were differing DI philosophies?

Oh it goes back years, has nothing to do with this forum, although there are members from each of the opposing forces here. SR awhile back posted a complete run down of what transpired, what caused the dispute.

You know there is a good possibility that if it wasn't for people like Frank S., Jerry Patterson etc., there wouldn't be these forums. But their forums were all based around ideas, methods, sharing ideas, they were also by invitation only, or you had to have someone vouch for you, or you bought their classes, DVDs, and there was no disruptive arguing, you were told to stop and if you didn't they kick you off the board.

Imus misses a few details, of course, but here is the part he got right
The disruption on Heavy's board was that Harley came along and insisted that at times casinos inserted bi - assed dice (not cheap dice, at that time) into the game. The tendency was for them to go 6/1. He got shrill about it, disrupted the board, lacked any real evidence and got tossed, along with Rick who supported him.

The exact same thing happened on the Wizard of Vegas site. Harley, his sock puppet Bohemian, are also excluded.

Irish Setter came up with the phrase "Short Bus Crew", for their insistence on deliberate bi-assed dice inserted by casinos, at appropriate times.

But THE dice war was between Heavy and Scoblete and the snide comments between the parties.

Just as one must be careful of those that rewrite crap forum history similar to the great win and missing posts on this board, one must also be careful to understand why and who are doing the arguing on this thread. I for one, know that James Hall (aka Mr. Mesa Gang Banger) and TDVegas (aka little guy) know each other well and partied together at last year's Rodeo week. Why they are fighting in a public forum since they are best buds is beyond me.

Why have these other boards gone to hell? Deceptive sales practices? Saying but not doing?

They haven't gone to hell they are just stuck in Limbo, Since there is little opposing point of views they get vary boring and any discussion boils down to math, toss techniques, or buy my talking dice CD and handouts. Just look at WOV, Heavy's, and Supperick's forum. Boooring.

Something which is somewhat related to Koko's post.
After Barney got time doing the chores at the homestead, he recently did a statistical analysis of a few of the craps forum that many on this forum are familiar with and these are a few of his conclusions:

    1. GTC’s forum primarily oriented to push their product

    2. MP’s forum was oriented at providing detailed DI information as well as Vegas and Casino stories. It’s hard to believe that a few innumerates thought the picture of cars he posted were his cars since he showed a new one every few days.

    3. Heavy’s forum primarily oriented to assist DI and only a soft sell whenever they put on a clinic.

    4. Supperick’s forum provides some interesting Las Vegas stuff but the majority of any active post is related to selling a product.

    5. JP’s forum is for the innumerates of the world.

    6. WofV forum is for mathathletes and bullies crap innumerates and DI advocates.

    7. Little Joe forum primarily pushes their product.

    LID,

Your wrong again with item 4. SR's board is clean when it comes to selling anything. He don't sell anything or anybody else on his board but I do. Yet I don't push what I sell. A simple series of this n that about my works is shown only as a reminder. Typically this is done when questions are asked about where to get the material or devices.

In short it simply says, here it is if you are interested. That's the end of it. No pushing or shoving about it. No After Glow Fees. When questions are asked, they get answered. Phone, PM and e-mail is available for discussions. NEVER ANY ADDITIONAL CHARGES after a product is acquired. I spend hours with those that have acquired my material. Even some that haven't.

Superrick has the most complete scenario around when it comes to showing anybody how it's done. He even gives of his time freely for those coming into town. No fees for this. Several members of this board have put up posts talking about the great treatment and courtesy he has offered them as well as assistance with their game.

I recall a situation where Tabletop123 was having problems. SR took his call, advised him and the rest is a beautiful end result. TT even put up posts on this board about it.

Koko recently has done the same thing.

No forum anywhere does what he does or me for that matter. No pissing contests.

For craps I like this one since it has a lot of different opinions and for Video Poker the WOV is great.

Allow me to expound! Linaway's material trumps Dice Influencing. No special grips required! No need for perfect rotational control. No need to nail a target/s With sniper like precision!

Simply the ability to read the dice in less than two seconds BEFORE the stickman scoops the dice to the center of the table!

There is a However....... If you are a action player, it will take MANY sessions to discard bad habits before Linaway's material will help you!

Action players want Action, action, & more action which usually amounts to saying "fu...k it" to any & everything that does NOT encompass Action!

It takes an extreme amount of discipline to accept what the dice are telling you as an action player, because action players normally try to out guess the FACTS (linaway's material) that the dice display!

Kokomo should do VERY well, because he is disciplined enough to place only one bet, & wait patiently for an outcome.

Now that Koko has decided to delve into Place Betting ( still only one bet) he should do VERY well! Why? Because instead of locking himself into a Passline Bet, he can place Bet only one number , & let Linaway's material advice him as to if he should keep his place Bet working, or if he should take it down!

LID doesn't take any shit. When told to get rid of the smoke, he told this guy to fuck off and get things done quickly, then he would pay with a couple of white chips.

I decided not to post anything for a few days, and just read the forum from a "lurkers" perspective.

I might just keep doing that....interesting to try and figure out the why and what of it all.

But I imagine I can't refrain from giving my "opinion" from time to time. :)

All but dead. Can you imagine anyone without a court order going to SR's site to listen to his insane rants and bullying?
So SR and his Butt Brothers from the Short Bus drag their Shenanigans to this site to entertain and hopefully get someone...:,ANYONE.... to read and respond to their arrogant behavior.

Well IRISHSETTER AKA HEAVY, you're showing your ass again with total disregard for others privacy by using names. Let's face it, you can't get rid of me so you try every nasty trick you can think of to attempt to make me look bad.

So haltom/morgan, step up to the plate and be honest for a change. Reveal to the board who you really are. You've used private information from board registrations to play your asinine games. You will do anything to defame me and others. I'm surprised you didn't take a bite out of TT's backside since he disagrees with your policies. Yet I guess you did when you tossed him off your board because he disagreed with your policies.

Will there be any after glow fees for your sadistic illustrations? After all you are unwittingly giving me notoriety. You see, each time you play your games, I get PM's wanting to know more about my products. I don't have to try to sell them, you do it for me. There are times when backlog keeps me working more in retirement than I really want. Yet I take care of sincere individuals that want the truth about dice and not schemes to glean redundant charges claiming you didn't get it the first time. I don't refuse my participants! I don't shut them out if we find points we don't agree on, we work together to find a common ground.

By the way Tabletop, thanks for the kudos. Your analogy shines a light on my material that I typically haven't pushed.
