What set were u guys using when u rolled your best roll ever?? Do u find that rolling high or lower gives u best results? And has anyone ever put maximum money on dont pass and then go to all 7
set and hit the 7? is that a good strategy to get quick money when your down??

Yes I will intentionally roll the seven and play the dont pass or lay 4 and 10.I do that as much as playing the pass.

I practice and use so many set ups I cant say which I used on my 30+ roll at Tropicana.

I personally seem to be able to hit a 7 on demand with the all7 set for the come out I always got money up on big red knowing that 5 out of 6 times ima hit my 7. after the point is established I just stick with the hard ways set since I keep all the hard ways loaded up and my big place bets on the 6 and 8 . I prefer to call myself " one with dice " lol rather then controlled or influencing or what not. With my 7 set working so good I really am a fool for not playing the donts but I can't stoop to that level it ruins the vibe of the game IMO .

Yesterday at jokers wild all 5 of my rolls were 30+ min

Just got home from jokers wild had 1 of my rolls go just over an hour using the hard ways set. I did have 3 really short rolls but this one absolutely killed it . It was the first time I seen a table almost run out of chips the dealers were trippn. Also if your not into bouncy tables stay out of texas station lost 100 in 10 min earlier today could hardly keep the dice on the table. The stickman said they call it the trampoline table. The vibes were great at jokers wild no 1 playing the donts people were pressing my betts for me out of gratitude and made 2 guys a ton of money on hopping hardways multiple times.

Aren't you a little leery of "killing the golden calf" at Jokers Wild?

    Sorry about that.

Back several years ago when Dice Control was in its strong beginning ( 2003 ish ) several of the groups found that at the Golden Nugget they were basically hammering the daylights out there tables.

Instead of spreading there play around to other casinos ( don't forget that most tables were felt tops not microfiber ) and after the Golden dumped an incredible amount of cash, the GN changed their tables and refused any form of dice setting. Its just recently that they are becoming "dice setting friendly".

They term " Killing the golden calf " meant that every dice setter stopped at the GN ATM and made a withdrawal.

I don't think that jokers wild will do anything about it. It's not like more then a handful of people come in daily setting dice.most toss completely random hardly even looking at the dice. There is also always rookie dealers in there that Boyd gaming puts there to learn before moving them to "real" casino. There not paying that much attention plus one of the keys to dice control is being able to quickly set the dice without causing extra attention to your self. They offer dollar mins there with 10x odds for a reason to keeP people coming back and they only have one table.
I don't know though anything can happen but I'm gonna take advantage of it while the tables r soft and the dealers r rookies.

In the fairy tale / parable that I learned, it was the goose that laid the golden eggs. I'm kinda hazy on the details but somebody got greedy and killed the goose so that they could get all of the golden eggs at one time. Of course, there was no supply of eggs because the goose created each egg each day.

The golden calf that I'm aware of is the one that the impatient tribes of Israel created and worshiped while Moses was off discussing policy issues with the burning bush. It was destroyed when Moses came back from the mountain.

The golden goose parable teaches one to take small steady rewards in place of trying for everything all at once and ending up with nothing.

Thanks for clearing that up. I got a little confused there, but after 12 years of Catholic Education, you would think that I would have gotten that one right. Maybe to many hits on the knuckles from all those Nuns......

You indicate you set for the seven and bet a big red.

Any particular reason you bet that way as contrasted with hopping the seven?

(don’t forget that most tables were felt tops not microfiber )

So is microfiber more bouncy and I also heard they lay some rubber backing down first?

Mtarcpa- yea because on the come out I hit a "any seven" 5 out o 6 times or so not a hopping 2,5 or 4,3 or 6,1 I mostly hit the 4,3 so may b I could try to hop it but really the only thing I ever hop are hard ways when I'm throwing perfect on axis using hard way set

I think the question was based on the fact that hopping the 7's pays more than the Any Seven bet.

Microfiber is more bouncy than felt. When its new it can creates a trampoline effect. Some of them over time do "stretch" out and lose some of the bounce. Quit often they don't and its not uncommon to see dice flying around like superballs. Rubber layment does also create bounce when used with felt.

I am sure that if any of the members here have built there own tables or practice rigs they Jump in here and can give you lots of information about the effect of microfiber vs felt vs rubber backing underlayment. As you can tell here in the short time you have been a member, Everyone loves to give opinions.

    Thats a good thing.

As a side note, BigBen here, had his table "double-sided". Ask him to "expound" on his table.

I had Sisters of Charity in grammar school - had the Irish Christian Brothers in High School - longed for the wooden ruler on edge in lieu of the " strap " or fists used by the " boys in black " -

And check your spelling between " Maybe and many " - you are due one knuckle buster !

If you use the 4/3 - 5/2 ALL 7 set - why not hop those two 7's - pays 15-1 - you will either lose $2 - or win $13 with the bet still up -

That's what I do in AC when I fell I'm on a roll ! And put the dealer's on your back - goes a long, long way !
