    Hello fellow crappers,

I got my tax return from the Venetian, and low and behold, I was up $4k for 2021. I play at both the MGM Grand and the Venetian. I have been going there for business conferences for years. I remember my b-day trip in 2021 where I can home with about $1k, but I had lost at the MGM and made most of my money at the Venetian.

Anyways, The Venetian offered one of their sweet suites for free and I called my brother and said: "let's hit vegas" and see the "Love" show since you had never seen a Cirque de Soleil show. It was fantastic by the way, even though I had some nosebleed seats. The theatre was sold out and maybe 5% of people were wearing a mask and they were kids in the audience and kids in the show.

Ok the juicy part of the story.

When I check in to the Venetian on Friday night, they gave me a coupon for $200 in free play, one bet only and a $50 free credit for food on the property using my room charge. That was nice. They give you these weird looking chips that say $100 on it.

Naturally, I took it to the craps table that night and put the whole $200 on the pass line. Point 10! My brother, who was a software engineer says to me: "you are so screwed". 10 throws later - Bam 10!

I ended finished up about $500 for the night. By the way; Masks are hard to find being worn by anyone in the Venetian. All the tables are $25 tables, except for Saturday morning and Sunday morning, one $15 table.

Saturday morning we go over the MGM and play in the 11am poker tournament. $100 buy in,(25k chips) $100 rebuys until the 7th tier, then you have the option of another 100k chips for $100. Obviously they force you to rebuy that one last time. My brother was the chip leader until he had AK in the small blind and the Big blind had QQ. He lost 70% of his chips and then lost it all when someone flopped trips when he had a suited connector. I grinned and grinned and ended up 4th place and was the official bubble boy.

That Saturday night, after the love show, back to the Venetian. I played for 3 hours and lost about $1,500. I was playing the all tall, small and all or nothing bets at $5 a pop. Over the weekend, I must of played that bet about 50 times costing me about $750 (It adds up). I hit the small once Saturday night and I was on the cusp of winning all of it and just needed to roll a 2 or a 12 and got screwed 5 or 6 times. So much teasing by the dice!

Sunday, my bother is gone and I have a late flight back to California I pull up my last $500 to go attack the tables at the MGM. Its around 1pm and I promptly lost that $500. It was the Point 7 parade which I know so well.I scrape together a mother $200 and this guy start to throw and I notice that he sets the side and has this kind of snap to his wrist and the dice come out in perfect rotations. I think to myself" "wow I need to get on this shooter" This guy rolls for 25 minutes and hard ways too. I have the ATS bets working at $15. Then he hits an 11 and Bam, that was the tall. I look at the small and all there is, is the 2! The player not to me, a kid from Mississippi also at the ATS bets and says to me: "What do you think"? In response, I throw $5 on the "low" aces bet on the horn. You guessed it! the 2. $900 payout.

I won another $600 on that roll and then cashed out and went to the Sports Book area to watch the Warriors lose to Dallas and I ended up the trip with about a $300 loss, add in the free chips, free suite, and the dinner; I came out way ahead.

My best advice is to try and take advantage of the comps and use them to offset your up's and downs.

    I had a blast!

My brother left to drive back to San Diego at 11am, and he had dropped me off at the MGM

    This is Barney

Mr Amazing personage, from the limited description of dude tossing the "snappy " toss at MGM it is very possible that that personage was either the LID, Tabletops 123, or VDC. All three have a "snappy" pitch controlled toss. If it was the LID, I hopes you tipped him good.

masks no longer required. try to keep up. I recommend Gambling with an edge or Vital Vegas podcasts.

I tipped him about $25. I tipped the dealers $25 and the kid from Mississippi also was throwing green chips at everyone. He also bear hugged me. He screamed at me: “ How did you know the 2 was coming?” I shrugged my shoulders and thought to myself that the craps tables had been screwing with me all weekend and I was due. I threw the chip out there in a show of extreme masculinity; amazing what $5 will buy you.
