Was never a beer connoisseur. Actually drank to catch a buzz. Often chased the Heinekens and Bass ales down with whiskey.

I stopped drinking 22 years ago, so I missed the 'craft beer' revolution.

Some of the comedy around the elitist beer drinkers of today is pretty funny.

    Yes, basically.

Was not a Bourbon snob either. Jim Beam was my go to brand. Jack Daniels when I just got paid.

I know, I know, JD is not Bourbon, it's Tennessee whiskey.

Some great drinking scenes, especially Nick Cage in Leaving Las Vegas. That movie rocks!

    I agree on this one.
Mohegan is also super friendly as far as comps. Rooms even without mail or email offers are always up for comps whenever I call them. And if its a weekend, they usually get me in half price.
I just wish there wasn't the smoke issue.

mr comeback, if you ever have the time and feel the drive, waterloo,ny dellago casino, youll never want to go back to any other NY casino.

You’re a lucky man, midnight. Stay away from that demon rum. No good can come from it.

That is one thing my parents did right: steer me clear of alcohol and other drugs. Of course I had to milk the 32oz bottle of beer at college keggers, but after those years i could count the number of drinks I had in a year on my fingers. The thought of having to ask if I had a good time at the party the previous night was not appealing.

Alas I can not say the same thing about tobacco. Started as a sophomore in high school and had to quit -- OK, chose life over cigarettes -- 49 years later after a mild heart attack. Been clean there for 10 years now.

So you’re down to only one vice, Craps? I’d say you’re ahead of most of us.

Craps is a religion, complete with a high Priest/Priestess & Deacon/Deaconettes, who assist in the “Holy Ceremony”. The precepts of said Church-ino have been lovingly handed down thru the centuries, but lo to those who sway from the rules. These are ironclad. For ye who violate the sacraments, are forever barred from the kingdom & must wallow with the others of their sort, on various online forums.

Know that ye step upon holy carpet when ye walk bowed & humble with your merger offerings in hand, reverently toward the “Craps Altar” standing majestically bathed in divine streams of pure heavenly light. Behold I say unto thee, both jubilation & the baptism of wailing & teeth-gnashing await thou, upon the tosseth of the dices, in the holiest of places such as Harraha-lu-yah’s, the Bor-God-a & The Golden Nugrament. It matters not if you’re of the ComeBetus cult, or a fervent devotee of the PlaceBetian denomination – all are welcome with bankroll in hand.

Think thou worthy enough to stand beside the saints of the past, such as Saint Francesco Scob-spaghetti or that pious monk Dominican-a-tor? Let me ask you this, “Have ye wandered for 40 days & 40 nights thru the desert of Lost Vegas? Well have you? Are you just a pretender, or can we & god count on your bankroll contribution anytime soon? It’s damn expensive to keep these slot machines all lit up 24/7. (Excuse my language)

Please rise & open your hymnals to page 62...How great I art....how great I artttttt

    Net positive, all things considered.

On a veritable plethora of occasions did I wander aimlessly through multiple deserts both near and far in search of the Holy Grail, but all I got were these stupid chalices. On the advice of The Guru of the Culvert I even sacrificed a skunk and fashioned a hat therefrom -- man, was that a mistake! -- but salvation was denied me...until I took what I thought was a wrong turn at Albuquerque and entered the land of Atlantis City. At the Taj-me Hall therein the error of my ways was revealed to me during the Sacraments of Dos Dados. (It was a goat I should have sacrificed.)

My life now has purpose. I have but to master the power of Dee Eye through religious practice to free myself from these shackles of randomness that deny me access to The Kingdom of the 28 SRR's.
This is my quest, to follow that star ...
No matter how hopeless, no matter how far ...
To go for the gold whenever I want ...
To be able to march into Hell with a skill I can flaunt ...
Now, anybody have a goat they want to get rid of?

Harness the power of the Third Eye to master the art of "Betting what the dice are giving you" and you won't need to attain a 28SRR.

I'm getting real close, but that damn "bets off" button usually goes dark on the bubble a nano second before the third eye tells me the next roll is going to be a seven.

As far as the goats, I may be able to help but it's going to be the fall of 2019 at the earliest. We have a piece of unused timber we plan on fencing off and turning into improved pasture. Unfortunately, goats take a rather sturdy fence network to keep them from free ranging. Either that or I need to hire a goat whisperer to attend to them. I was hoping to hire Barney but he has his hands full attending to the LID.

to achieve the pinnacle of craps
    the book says
"GO FORTH UNTO THE DESERT AND SACRIFICE
THE FIRST LINGS OF YOUR FLOCKS"
It doesn't say a damned thing about buying or borrowing no goats
You are treading on dangerous ground , borrowing sacrificial goats ?
If you are going to do that , just go to Safeway and buy some goat meat
    and have a BAR-B-QUE

This post is a plethora, of words like "plethora" and other words I have to look-up. If you will not cease and desist, I will have to report this to Jacob. As far as deserts go, I think this "Holy Grail", whatever that is, would be, hot apple pie, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. :)

Let’s hope your new avatar give the Cavs the juice they need tonight!

June must be, change your avatar month?

Go Cavs! I’m waiting for the brawl to become official. Should be some Clay Matthew’s crooked noses afterwards.
