Look at chip and think of an old-fashioned (e.g., non-digital) clock with the 12, 3, 6 & 9 positions and tell time. Use \$1 (white) chips for box numbers (4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10) and \$5 (red) chips for all other numbers (2, 3, 7, 11, 12).

Logo at the 12 o'clock position:

If a 6 is rolled:

If a 9 is rolled:

If a 4, 5, 8, or 10 is rolled, you can estimate where their corresponding spot on the chip "clock" is an orient the logo accordingly. Should be relatively easy to differentiate between the 8 & 10 (since the 9 position is well-defined). The 5 will be closer to the 6, while the 4 will be closer to the 3.

Use a red (\$5) chip for 2, 3, 7 (upside down -- same position as 6 above for simplicity), 11 & 12 (right side up).

If a 3 is rolled:

After @5 rolls or so, write down the sequence and start over.

Did that once, wore a shirt with front pocket. But in the end you spend just as much time listening to the recording, as the length of the session plus time spent inconspicuously turning device on and off. Not worth it. My notes are invaluable, it is worth it!!

RR: Works for combined total. Useless for left die, right die.

Interesting. Would need an on/off remote to only shoot my shots. Would make for more accurate tracking, left die, right die.

Full Press got caught filming....my understanding is he was banned from that casino and in all liklihood his picture and full name has been distributed to every local casino as persona non grata. There's also the possibility his name and picture has been sent out thru the gaming industry.

Do as you wish...once that Scarlett letter has been attached, it's not coming off.

Those would get you 86'd and blacklisted for sure if you're lucky. If you're not lucky and chose a day where security or the pit boss has PMS, they would probably get you arrested.

The "chip clock" could easily be modified to handle 1-6 for each die, but when laying chips flat and using 1 chip per die, space could become an issue quickly. In the end, pencil & paper are probably the easiest way of recording L die & R die roll results, if one is interested in procuring that data.

Yes it is the Dice Coach who tracks with his chips. Every time, or most of the time, he and I sit down and chat for a while. Not always chat about craps but other things that go one with ones life. He is a pretty sharp guy. He plays a very good game of poker also. Just sayi8n.

Why not use a "hide in plain sight" approach? Dress up like a clown; put the camera in the nose. A complete line of apparel is available from Party City, a subsidiary of Video Accessories Inc.
Same problem as with the unmodified version: How do you track time if you're using your clock to track rolls?

I usually carry an atomic clock with me, for tracking time. I pride myself on punctuality.

I prefer my Thomas grandfather clock. The chimes on the quarter hour help sooth my nerves when I shoot. Much better rolls that way
