Yes, I dropped the "home runs are often boring" moniker after history proved me right...these were the days when even sophisticated baseball scribes, who should have known better, were hailing mcgwire, sosa, bonds et al as "saving baseball" with their ridiculous home run totals...In the 140 years prior to the 1990s no more than a dozen sluggers had attained 50 home runs...then in the span of less than 10 years a dozen more, some even banjo joe batters were slugging 50...turns out it wasnt the ball that was juiced...it was my lonely protest against the cruel assault on mankind's greatest, closest approach to perfection: 90 feet between bases...with the crackdown on the juice things are back to much better proportions...

...yes, alan shank, ye old balloon squeezer, I am still playing tough...too bad I am getting my ass kicked doing it...but as I keep saying, it is so damn much fun I cant stand it...I will be winning large tomorrow...tom p

Betwweenthelinees considered himself a , "TOUGH CRAPS" player
He understood the concept and knew that it was totally
unnecessary to make large initial bets to get the big wins
The real , "WINNING WAY" is to start minimum , get your money
off the table and beat the casino using their money
He understood that , you don't
While you are playing with your money the house can beat your brains out
Playing with their money they can't beat you , what's not to understand

Just got back from a very quick "Vault Assault"
I had a conversation with a retired pit boss I have known for some time
about how annoyed I get with people on the stick
flipping the dice around before giving them back to me
He said , "Do you know why they do that"
    I said no
He said , "The people who work in casinos
are sometimes even more superstitious than gamblers
and they think that because the seven comes up every 6 rolls
they can shorten your roll by having a few faces come up
    between your throws"

Tomp was a SOLE come bet player. Pass, come, come, come. Odds added. Nothing else.

You've articulated that the "come bet sucks" around 50+ times here.

Can't have it both ways, dude.

No one is deriding the idea of pressing bets once you have banked the initial bankroll.

I understand that and I may have said that even
MORE than 50 times and you guys just don't learn

The problem with pressing once you have banked the initial bankroll
is the fact that you guys are taking the slow way to retrieving
the initial bets , I hit the 6 or 8 twice I have my across bets
back shy $1 , while you guys are fiddling and farting around
feeding the come bet and collecting every other roll
Yeah I definitely like my way better , much quicker

One thing these , "NON TIME TRAVELERS"
need to heed is what Dr. Who said on many occasions
"A STITCH IN TIME SAVES NINE"
These guys need to learn that.
    Was Dr. Who on first?

    This is Barney,

Mr. Ted Vegas you are sometimes full of the shits. I am sure the Mr. James Hall is unable to post from phone but it is short half hour flight from the Mesa to the Las Vegas. I used the LIDs suppercomputer to review the videos from the Sky Harbor this afternoon and it showed the amazing Mr. Hall, Parker, and Leon landing with their saddlebags full of the monies they got from the Las Vegas casinos. This must be the Parkers new plane and it seems to be very practical for such Texan cowboys.

    Thank you very much

tom p played similar game to me.I doubt hed put more than 5 bucks on the pass line if there were 50-100 odds offered by a casino.I know I never would until I maxed out odds bets.
tough means he grinded out low house advantage bets and always looked for the best odds on any bet in the house.
lots of odds, small line bets. we had a few pm exchanges, we were trying to meet up to play.
