If I lose at any one of the three casinos, I will concede that DI doesn't work - how's that?
Well this is just the appetizer. We probably have a Fed rate hike coming. China is in deep shit. There is a blood moon coming. And we keep printing money. Let's talk about this around November 1!!!
Will TD finally meet someone from this board? Haven't we been down this road several times? Not that I'm a gambling man but I got $5 he doesn't!
There have been three on this board thrown off by Heavy. He also won't let Frank Scoblete join. So that gives you a thousand members here that have not been thrown off. Some people have different handles, there are also duplicates (Little Joe - 2 different people) So I don't really know how many here are members there.
Nobody wins every game, but that doesn't mean you can't come out a winner. Hartzehn22 just might be coupling his DI skills with good money management practices.
NO he won't, and never will. TD is beyond being very narrow minded when it come to DI and winning. This topic of engaging TD on DI has proven itself useless on almost every occasion, but there is one thing you can bank on. You submit a positive post on DI, and sure as the sun comes up in the east, you can expect TD to reply with his same old negative diatribe, that is just how TD rolls.
The Fed might just need to raise interest rates, 1/4 pt at a time over the next 6 months, in the event we have another recession, then they could lower the interest rate. As it stands right now the Fed can not lower what is an almost zero interest rate. There is talk of another QE, but that is just more of the same, delaying the inevitable. We have screwed the pooch; us being the pooch.
Yeah, so do random rollers. What exactly is your point?
It's not a diatribe on winning. It's a diatribe that you think you won because of DI. You didn't. You won because...like random rollers...you have good and bad days. How simple, right?
let me try and answer that. Conservative betting with numbers that are more prone to hit based on the influence you think you have with the dice gives you a chance at a positive outcome. You're a tennis coach right? Do you have a go to shot (s) that you know works depending on the type of opponent you are playing? You figure out your opponent's weakness which may be his back hand return. You keep hitting it to his back hand over and over because he struggles with the return. You hit it to his back hand 5 times and he can't return it positively more than 1 or 2...then you've found yourself a weak link and you might even win the game if you can control hitting it more often to his weak back hand. It takes skill to hit it consistently to his back hand and you can't always do that but you strive for picking on his weakness because that is an advantage you need to actually win. This is how I play craps. This is how I can gain influence. Of course I know you don't like the sports analogy to craps but this is my approach and it works for me. I don't hit the tennis ball all over the court and I don't always win but I try really hard to take advantage of my opponent"s weakness.
And not all craps tables or dice are the same opponent or play the same game and I have to adjust my game plan or I will lose more often than not. I know you don't see any difference in tables, dice employed or positions from where you shoot because you believe it is a random game. I'm just saying I see it much differently.
Yawn. Same negativity from you, just a different day. Try playing tennis.
That is sniping numbers and even some of the most devout DI'ers on this board will call bullshit on that.
I would not expect you to understand this, but certain set if thrown correctly and repeatedly will produce certain numbers. Go play tennis.
Then what are you doing here?..wasting time. Go do if it's that easy.
Stay with tennis, something you may know what you are talking about. But again, maybe not.
Tennis skills are a proven commodity. DI exists only in your mind.
sniping numbers is very powerful when you are able to recognize your trends and you pair it with the right opponent. I see it as a weakness in the craps game. Low risk but high return in my opinion.
there is definitely a mental component to winning at craps.
you can be a stellar tennis player but if you don't have the mental acuity and a solid game plan you might get beat more often by someone who is not as skilled but outplays you mentally. They keep you on your heels by hitting deep and always at your weak backhand.
So you walk up to the table and make a pass line bet---($5?)...the dice are given to you and what is the plan?
