This is the only math understood at baccarat table,
I think, being brought up in the 40's, 50's and 60's......was the very, very best of America.....I am very thankful that was my time, and I wouldn't want any other time........when people look back, that period of time is the period of time they focus on........
Two special times and two neat posts..
[email protected]#$king Roller..you deplorable you LOL
Thanks for your contributions (service to this country, on this forum, and the other times) over the years, OAP.
Empty Garden -- Elton John
2017 Blue Angels NAF El Centro Air Show
California, Here I Come -- Al Jolson
My Old Kentucky Home -- John Prine
Great post Roller...neat touch with My old Kentucky home
Basic....I am enjoying let be as I write this reply it is a very sweet touch...the last couple of years being here on the forum has been the hardest for me...knowing of Onautopilots condition and his request that he asked of me to keep his situation under my hat was really tough to do here and especially when you and forum members were inquiring about him....you know how I feel about you and it killed me every day to keep this under my hat...I would do no different for you or any other member here if requested to keep something personal...sometimes being a man is a hard and unpopular thing to do...Im going to listen to the song once again before I head out to work ....Im just going to let it be....luv you 777s
ya-ya....I've got nothing against you or anybody here re OAP's situation. You did the right thing, based upon his wishes.
I liked him and it just would have been nice to let him know how I felt about him....I'm sure you understand.
Thanks. I was hoping there was a video of the song featuring UK superfan Ashley Judd...
A pilot’s last performance. I think OAP would have enjoyed this,
Had trouble keeping a dry eye with this one, which I'll wager JB sang on his way Upstairs.
Three beautiful and very appropriate songs ...I enjoyed them all while thinking of JB and pictureing different things he had done in his life thank you gentlemen
What ever you do with the go-go"s stays with the go-go"s..cause there lips are sealed
About 50 years ago a radio DJ I often listened to signed off with a song, "I'm walkin' out the door...with you on my mind." While searching for it (unsuccessfully) I stumbled onto these gems.
Considering this site is dying, what better song for the funeral?
My picks for Friday, August 10, 2018: It's been a good run, but current state of the forum is basically unusable. With that in mind, Final Songs, Part I
All Things Must Pass -- George Harrison
So Long, Fairwell -- Von Trapp Family Singers
Don't Dream It's Over -- Crowded House
Time for me to Fly -- REO Speedwagon
My picks for Friday, August 10, 2018: Final Songs, Part II
Final Songs, Part I
Wish You Were Here -- Pink Floyd
Funeral for a Friend / Love Lies Bleeding -- Elton John
Don't You (Forget About Me) -- Simple Minds
The End -- The Beatles
Continuing the theme, one of my all time favorites,
Alas, it is looking more and more like this forum is going the way of the Usenet newsgroup. While I do not intend to abandon it completely I will miss the active discussions. For those willing to fight the resource hydra to stay in touch, and not just with me, the forum sends a notification by regular e-mail to recipients of private messages, or so it does to me. YMMV for it may depend on some profile or alert setting.
I was looking for a classical requiem but all the ones I know are a half-hour or more long.
