Did you ever think of going in a sitting down and having the food come to the table and eating a little and ask for a to go box? We all better watch out the next time you go to use a rest room on the strip there will be a way for you to pay to use it!

I do believe las vegas was one of the first cities to start charging hotel fees instead of the 13.99 per night for internet.
I don't recall many other cities with hotel fees before them.
Now every resort style hotel charges them.

if we got smart, eve;ryone, and stopped tipping housekeeping, stopped tipping food servers, and explained to them, the hotel charges us 40 dollars a night in fees, sorry, they have your tip.
if a server heard that 30 times a day, things would change.

Thanks for that offer. Much appreciated.

Mostly I stay off strip because I’m not a fan of crowds or traffic congestion. I've been known to pass up free rooms in the center strip just to avoid the madness.

I definitely agree on having a car. Las Vegas and surrounding area offers much to see and do and I prefer to run on my own schedule. Nothing worse than having to leave a good game or scenic area because the bus is leaving.

All that and then some. The story from back when is after Thorp published his book on blackjack the casinos changed blackjack rules to make the game less player favorable and then the game damner died off because people refused to play against worse odds. So the casinos changed back the rules and people started to play once again.
Whatever happened to those good 'ol boycotts that were once effective?

Try Las Vegas Advisor for good Hotel deals. If you do any serious business with Harrah's or MGM, you should have lots of free rooms in your offers. If you are advanced tier, parking and resort fees drop away.

Yeah..I don't play that cat and mouse game, Rick.

If they want to be rip off artists by charging me $4.00 on an $8.00 take out order...fuck em. I have 1,000 restaurants in this town that appreciate a take out order and aren't looking to gouge me. I've been very pro RR as a resort casino. In this case, they effed up and will royally piss off their locals.

If I want to use points...there is Lucille BBQ and Yardhouse not owned by RR but in the casino. I'll use my points on them.

At that rate they could lose half their customers, save half their food costs and still break even. Now if they drop a cook, a server, they will make money.

I think that I counted nine tables; 7 were open and all were $25 minimum. Excellent traffic for 2:30 pm Monday afternoon. NOT a diverse group of gamblers. 80% of the Craps players were Hip-Hoppers, just about all of which were playing $25. The $100 minimum mini-baccarat tables were hopping, several players were paying > $500 per hand. Definitely a high end casino. Lots of money in the Metro area and lots of gamblers playing over their head. Not
    my cup of tea.

This high rent casino is a gold mine. $5-$10 bettors must head to Charles Town or
    Downtown Las Vegas. Lol.

Free self parking. Time to go sight seeing. DC traffic is a nightmare 24/7. Parked the car until Thursday. From here out, I'm on the METRO.

Staying at the Wyndham-Alexandria. Had a good dinner at Theismann's. Walked the short
17 blocks to the water. Must have passed 50 restaurants. Never have seen so many in such
a small area. Took the free trolley to the hotel. Gotta rest. Museum Day on Tuesday.

Enjoy. My MGM friend here in Vegas went to visit the DC property a couple months ago. He could not believe the table minimums as it relates to the Vegas properties. Packed like sardines and waiting for $25 and $50 tables. Lotta cash in the DC area.

Yep...best way to travel in DC is the Metro. Clean and quiet. Hit the Air and Space museum. Not to be missed, IMO.

LOL....just saw this post. Well, they shit canned the up charge on take out orders. Now they charge nothing for take out. It didn't last long. I knew their local customers would scream bloody murder.

F/B manager should have been fired on the spot for that screw up.

25 dollar min tables, and all rocking. sad, really sad.
Im figuring eventually when the politicians get casinos going in NYC its going to be the same thing. 25 dollar mins on everything.
except slots, and Im sure 5 dollar cups of coffee.
