Well, it's over. The casinos are putting in plastic barriers at the tables with openings just enough to put bets out on the passline and come. All of the casinos will be installing these as the Pandemic continues on. There is absolutely no ability to perform any dice control on the table with such plastic barriers up. Photo was taken at the Orleans Furthermore, the dealers are unable to hear you with the plexi-glass and wearing mask. Conclusion: Dice is dead.
Well that's it then. I am playing at the "tested negative only " table. It will be right next to the "vaccinated only" table. Bouncing the dice off the plexiglass is a no throw???
Funny...HAHA... But that is not really a joke...not really The Cosmopolitan is now checking ID's when you enter the casino, and you have to have a players card or room key to play. Cashless Tables are now becoming a real thing! Photos are of signs at Red Rock Casino. The Health Insurance companies are launching an APP that will show if you are cleared of covid and the last testing date. This will roll out nation-wide next year. You got to know, you got to have the app if you intend to enter the casino. The Digital Dollar is coming. Actually, it's here Now they can tax your Craps Winnings at any amount! This is so funny, that my pal here cannot stop laughing! And lastly, there is our dear leader...
Ok use a credit card for chip purchase. (hope they check ID) and then what return chips for a credit on your card??
nonsense.........now there will be an entire new group of shots so people can continue to spend their money learning dice control. the Lucite lucy, the barrier bombshell, the bend and snap, (legally blond movie one), oh, its coming, another wave of reasons why dice control is more important than ever. I don't think the casinos want to kill off any games right now. they just want their regulars back and to feel somewhat safe, or at least show they are making an effort. ofcourse, getting mugged in a casino bathroom has become a new reality, another issue casinos will deal with when its a huge problem
This is Barney Mr Lemon is most correct. The LID said on his recent roadtrip to the Blackhawk, "when they sanitized the dices for the Colonel it caused the dices to stick together. He threw 4 times from straight out where the dices stayed together not only in air but after it hit table and came to stop. Where's Koko when he mistakenly claims dices only stay on axis about 2% of times
Oh, I am sure Heavy and Howard are cooking up new ways to swindle, I mean to teach, people dice control in this New World Pandemic Order Picture of Heavy and Howard
That is true. That sign is at Red rock. If you think the casinos are going 100% digital, you need to loosen the tin foil hat a little. Are you thumper? There was a guy at Red Rock playing the single seat bubble who had a bad temper. When things weren't going his way he was pounding the button so hard I thought he might break it. I nicknamed him Thumper.
Dice control was always a gambler's dream, because only in your dreams can you do this. If you read Frank Scobletes' books about the FICTIONAL Captian and dice control stories, you see that the fantasy book gained traction among the gamblers. According to Howard Newman, who was in Atlantic City and in the casinos at the same time that Frank claims he was there with the Captain, he never meets or knew of such a guy as the Captain, nor ever meet Frank or any of the other assorted characters Frank describes in his books. So from 1986 and onward, Franks fantasy stories about the Captain inspired the imaginations of many, including a lot of Hustlers who sold the fantasy to eager gamblers in the form of Dice Control Training. In my opinion, that is right up there with learning how to fly with the Maharishi. So Frank teams up with Dominic "The Dice Dominator" LoRiggio and forms Golden Touch Craps, where they conned delusional gamblers into thinking they can control the dice, just like The Captain did in Franks books. Later others picked up on this scam, and started running it for their own profits - Heavy and Howard are two well-known conn men in the Dice Control scheme. As for Frank, he has long retired from writing and anything to do with Dice Control. Dominic is broke, claims that Frank made up everything about The Captain, and still teaches the dice control, as well as work odd jobs.
I used to check Dom’s twitter feed for sports picks to track how he’s doing....he hasn’t listed his picks since February. The feed went dead. His NFL picks, if I recall were around 45-47%, somewhere in that range. Hopefully it wasn’t health related but it was a bit odd that it just stopped, dead in the water. This was the last post. Did it ever really start?
I remember when they did the Football picks scheme too. I think it was the final scam on the what was left of the Golden Touch Craps followers. I think a 47% win rate speaks for itself, and to why you are not hearing anything from them now.
Break even is 52.4% without paying any service. Making it worthwhile on your own is probably somewhere 55-56%. Paying a service probably adds another 2-3%. If ANY of these guys were actually hitting 58-60% consistently....they aren’t selling crap.
The chart below (posted on Eleven Warriors) of former, uh, passing-challenged Buckeye QB Joe Bauserman might shed some light on what can be expected at casinos that implement measures to impede Covid-19, er, DIs at craps tables. Just for good measure, craps table minimums will likely be $15-$25. To this day, Bauserman continues to incur the wrath of Ohio State fans (myself included), especially after an infamous 1-10-1 13 stat line in a 2011 game on the road against Nebraska -- complied entirely after freshman QB Braxton Miller was injured with 5 minutes left in the 3rd quarter. BTW, Ohio State was up 27-6 when he entered that game but after Miller left the game, the Buckeye offense did absolutely nothing. Ohio State lost that game 34-27 -- the only time Nebraska has beaten Ohio State (1-7 all-time). Bauserman had been the starter at the beginning of the season, but it was painfully evident early on he was not good. Okay, he was a horrible QB, except from the opponent's perspective. Thankfully, Urban Meyer would arrive in 2012. Stay healthy, y'all.
Someone who is consistently wrong more often than right can still provide useful information for bettors, speculators, investors and others. So perhaps he should shoot for 38-40% range.
RANDOM ROLLER No the idea of dice control is surely not dead. Every player that has ever played the game has had thoughts of what they could do or what they could learn to improve their odds, even bubble players. The only thing that will and has changed is the idea of what dice control is and what it is not. What Dom or Frank or the Dice Coach or Howard or Heavy do or have done means little or nothing because it has no direct affect on you. I have taken many classes and hundreds and hundreds of hours on my table, it affects no one but me. The only facts ever presented that are true for all time is how many results can a pair of dice produce, how many ways can each of those results be produced and in knowing that, is there anything in that knowledge that can make a difference.....for you ??? Our team still gets together, we have had some incredible nights, and some nights i would rather forget, but we have just as much fun as we used to......with one exception.......we no longer pay some one to teach us what they do. because the only thing that counts is what we...can do. What is dead is the idea that dice control can be discussed in a reasonable way in an open forum....that day has come and gone. TDB
