If the idea, is to NOT throw the dice, why did you go to the casino. You could have stayed home, and NOT thrown the dice. If you can predict when you will no longer WIN, then you would not NEED any influence of the dice, just play when you're "NOT GOING TO LOsE". I wish it was all so simple, IT IS NOT, and you know it.

Let me help you out a bit there, Ducky. The more tosses...the closer to random that you will get. I didn't say NOT to toss the dice. I said to toss the dice, the least amount of times necessary in order to achieve your goal.

If you could execute only 12 tosses, & " walk" with $300- $500.... Would you be happy?

Most winners squander winnings by tossing too many times, & over-staying their welcome.

When it comes to Influencing the dice, I'd be content with only a 15-20% return per buy-in, but I understand......most want a 100% or higher return on their buy-ins.

Buy-in is another area that I believe requires a definition. I define buy-in as the amount of money a guy is willing to lose on a bad session, not the amount he trades for chips. I If you will only lose 1/2 your buy in, then why the hell did you turn it into chips in the first place, you should buy-in only for the amount you would be willing to lose, if push came to shove. So by my definition, what IS your buy-in?

This came in the mail yesterday.

The weird thing is we played at Santa Fe a lot the last two trips after you clued me in that they had both varieties of bubbles and a decent craps table. We haven't received anything from them as far as offers yet. Since it's a new quarter they may start coming.

I'm not a fan of the slut devices but I may take the offer anyway if I can talk the wife into it.

I'll take an empty table any day. For better or for worse I need a fast pace of play to get into a decent rhythm to toss well. On a full table with a bunch of middle BS going on, forget about it, I'm as random as a Little Joe toss.

One of the best things I did for myself was to learn to toss with my off hand. If I'm playing alone often times I'll toss one hand Left handed overhand and the next one right handed underhand.

    Wow.....I was gonna discuss " toss change-ups during a hand with ( G) tomorrow during our meet-up.

Like yourself.....I also enjoy " switch tossing" during the same hand. I actually enjoy incorporating three ( yep..you heard me correctly) different tosses during the course of a hand.
Start with the Helicopter, left-handed Overhand, & my patented Underhand toss. ( which I have modified to now allow me to toss it with my arthric hand).

Conventional advice from the Schools/Gurus is to NOT change, & stick with the same toss during the duration of the hand. However, I like variety, & switching tosses every roll allows you to play ALL tosses in your arsenal.

Tossing this way allows me to stay " fresh", & not become " burned out" tossing only one toss.

The Naysayers , those who's basic plan of attack is ,
"PLAY NOT TO LOSE" is don't bet , their logic is
if you don't have money on the table you can't lose.

Among , SKILLED PLAYERS , the idea of throwing first with
one hand then the other is the , "MIX IT UP MUCK IT UP STRATEGY".
They say to avoid that at all costs. The changing of sets , unless
absolutely necessary is also considered a mistake. That
is the , "DANCE WITH WHO YA BRUNG STRATEGY".
They also say , "If ta didn't bring your A game don't bother buyin in"

They're right about that, but, not losing doesn't pay the bills. I could be wrong on this one. :D.

I don't see how you could be wrong there.
He says he has contacts is some of the casinos
I am beginning to wonder if maybe he has stock in some of them.

That's awesome. I see them run a slot tourney at least once a week. They tape off about 25 slots and it's a "tap-a-thon" of sorts. I have no idea how the winner is determined. I don't think it takes too long. I've never done it myself....but for 3 nights free, I'd devote an hour.

weve stayed at sunset a couple of times, I agree 100% about the surrounding area, nice shopping, good restaurants all around, good buffet, but best for us, is that its easy to get upgraded to suites if you push hard enough and are willing to pay a few extra dollars. rooms are a bit older, but in decent shape. my wife likes sunsets slot selection and payouts.
