I don't think there are any technical limitations on dice in Nevada. There may be some generic wording on fairness and "standard equipment"....

Could they conceivable take bubble craps dice and use them for table play? Good question. Strictly from a legal point of view...they might. I don't think it would ever be done...but is it illegal? I haven't seen any wording in the gaming bible laws that says it would be illegal beyond what I noted above.

Good level headed discussion of the 3 RNGs:

Dice in hand at the table
    Dice in bubble
    Video dice result computer generated

The elephant in the room is that DI's don't recognize the 'R'. They generate numbers, but not randomly.

Bubble dice on a table, that might be fun. Check with aruze, maybe they'll lone us a set. I once saw a set of rounded dice in play at a NV casino.

There is no such thing as "perfect" RNG's, or Dice.

But if they are within certain parameters, it is virtually impossible to detect that degree of imperfection.

But both serve their intended purposes quite well.....creating a random chance game, that stands the test of a confidence level for that purpose.

The casino does not expect to make money off of some imperfection in the RNG's or the Dice......they expect to make their money based on the pay schedules for all games. And that pay schedule always creates a negative expectation for the player...well, almost always. :)

There might not be any "perfect RNGs" but Navels are pretty close, easy to peel, no seeds, very tasty, and good for you too.

i am not sure if the following is what freddy is referring to when talking about being shorted "2 cents" on bubble bets but he may be understandably confused in the way it is presented...

the bubbles pay correctly not only "to the penny" but actually rounded up, which ironically may be a cause for some confusion.

tdv possibly plays into this confusion when he says,
No. the first sentence is only correct because 1 penny is the lowest monetary unit that we have...what the machine "wants" to pay is $1.16666 but obviously must round...the second sentence is NOT CORRECT. a $5 place 6/8 does NOT pay $1.85 (5 x 1.17) but rather $5.83, 5 x 1.166666...

iow the bubble pays excruciatingly close to the penny and if in fact this is the cause of freddy's confusion, it is an understandable one caused perhaps by the way it has been presented to him. if his confusion is due to something else...well...then...he is just confused...i guess.

hey, hiya, LID, how ya doin' today? here we have a distinction between 1.17 and 1.16666 and it is not picking nits in typical, dumb bohunk fashion but actually has heft and relevance to a topic.

strange days have found us, eh, lid?

its no different than dice influencing discussions.
people like me who enjoy the bubble, and win and lose no different from a live table, will support and claim bubble is exactly same as far as bankroll and betting.
people who hate the bubble will suggest differently.
I cannot prove the bubble is the same outcomes, but Ive played the bubble 10 times more than live tables the past 5 years, and Im convinced, and that's all that matters to me.
the good thing is noone is forcing anyone to go near a craps bubble.
I rarely go near a slot machine to play it, if I have a 10 dollar free coupon, Ill count the pulls, and take whatever I have after the 10 dollars is spent.
I figured people who hate the bubble view it the same way, and it makes no difference to me.
I play the bubble here with a 15 dollar minimum. That's not dollar betting, rick had played it here, koko, and one other member here has met me there.
There will never be a day in my entire life Id ever put 15 dollars on one pull on a slot machine, never even 5 dollars(I have played dollar slots)
I don't think twice about putting 15 dollars on the pass line on the bubble any day of the week.

The best way for anyone to judge the bubble accurately, is to just play it.
if you are a diehard dice influencer believer, trust me, its not for you.

to those that mock people that play the bubble insinuating we aren't playing anything but a slot machine, they are just ignorant.

So today, just before that 4 roll (to the right)....there was a sequence of 5-5-4-5-5. There were a bunch of stat trackers, know it all types telling everyone to "hammer the 5 now godamn it"..!!!

Me and the guy sitting next to me said "fuck em, bet the 9"...

We laughed to the cashiers cage as these guys pounded the machine screen.;) Obviously more 5's could have rolled. Not today, my friends, not today.

Well..now I'm confused. One group of "professional crapsters" said I should have been betting the 5 after seeing 5-5-4-5-5....

Now the other group of "professional crapsters" said I should have been betting the 9 because it was due...??

    Hmmmm....sounds like crap-ola from both sides.

    Oh yeah...

My only point with this post is there are no definite plays...

    Anyone telling someone

    "You have to do this"
    "You should do that"
"You have to bet these numbers"...

Because of something that happened in past rolls....

    Is talking out his ass

There are NO definite plays in craps.

Maybe next time the 5's continue with no 9's.

No. Hot shooter as per the craps voice. 3 seats away.

I've been catching hot rollers past few days. Impeccable timing. Not much else. It's all you need.
