Duck is often obsessed with conspiracy theories. At times, that propensity probably causes some (myself included) to take his posts less seriously. That being said, Duck's comment emphatically stating one does not need a photographic memory in order to count cards (while playing blackjack) is spot on. You might already be familiar with Hi-Lo card counting system, which assigns a value of +1, 0, -1 to each displayed card to help establish a running count. No photographic memory ability required. It's quite simple, especially after one gets used to +1 & -1 values in a hand cancelling each other and can quickly do so when summing the values of the cards. Or so I've heard.
