Duck is often obsessed with conspiracy theories. At times, that propensity probably causes some (myself included) to take his posts less seriously. That being said, Duck's comment emphatically stating one does not need a photographic memory in order to count cards (while playing blackjack) is spot on. You might already be familiar with Hi-Lo card counting system, which assigns a value of +1, 0, -1 to each displayed card to help establish a running count. No photographic memory ability required. It's quite simple, especially after one gets used to +1 & -1 values in a hand cancelling each other and can quickly do so when summing the values of the cards. Or so I've heard.

The values of the cards can be other than one, because there are different system levels. It's not that difficult to do, you just have to practice enough for it to become sort of subconscious, kind of like driving. The edge you can attain is very marginal. It's not fun, more like work. :)

It is true, I do love a good conspiracy theory, but I'm not that obsessed with them. This post however had nothing to do with conspiracy theories, but I will go to work on one that does, because I know you guys like them too. :)

Fair enough. When I see you going off on an alleged conspiracy tangent, I'm more inclined to skip to the next message. You'll notice I didn't do that in this case; rather, I posted several responses agreeing with your position re: card counting (no photographic memory required).

Were it not for the movie, you wouldn't have a clue who Garrison was. There are conspiracies, and there are theories, and some "conspiracy theories" are probably correct. Oh yeah, and there are also "Ostriches". Just because you refuse to see it, doesn't mean it's NOT there. But I think, you DO see it, in fact, I know you do.

I'm younger than some of the long-time members on this forum so when I saw the name Jim Garrison, my first reaction was you were talking about Mr. Garrison of South Park fame. Not even close, lol.

Is Jesse still above ground? I haven't heard that name in a long time.

If he is we should see if he'll do a biased bubble dice documentary.

This Jesse, I know of. I watched a couple of his"investigations" and it seemed to me, that he was not asking, the very obvious questions. I believe it was completely scripted, and he's a big phony.

The people of Minnesota love clowns and comedians
they vote Ventura governor , then turn around and send Al Franken to senate
Were they the most qualified people they had?

Meant to post this the other day (4/15). How about conclusively proving what happened to Ray Gricar, former Centre County (PA) District Attorney who disappeared more than 13 years ago.
