I enjoyed trying several new bombers last month thanks to a few fine gentleman that frequent this place. I gotta admit though, sometimes the beer fund is really a cider fund :]. The limited edition Ace - spACE Blood Orange Cider I picked up from the local bottle shop was a real treat and the best of the batch. Thanks again.

You have that right. But just as Heavy and Frank have confessed, the success rate at 3% probably rings true. But when you factor in how to bet and rearrange your lifestyle/home base (explain THAT to your SO), this also gets radically cut down. Then who is going to waste time here after the Holy Grail has been found?

Give you an example, on betting. It may be, with a small advantage, on the pass line, that the only way to bet is to either pass or don't pass. Who here on this board does that?

And my response was merely pointing out that it is impossible to keep all spam from ever being posted, not that it should be tolerated.

Chaferret, this ain't about Frank's talent with words or his obvious intelligence, or whether a DI can park the dice where he needs them to be with Frank's guidance, retail. This is about the rules of this forum dictating that NO ONE should be using it to promote their business interests, which Frank either ignores or believes himself to be exempt from. I ask why?

OK, reading the above, something has finally dawned on me about believers in dice influence.

We naysayers have rightfully I think pointed out the that the several K transferred from 'student' to 'expert' is a big negative for the wannabe to part with. We give the response "wouldn't it be better to hold onto this money for use at buy-in?" This is reinforced further when we hear that possibly 3% of the purchasers are going to have a positive experience from the arrangement with their instructors. Why part with a bundle of cash with a minimal chance of success?

What I think I am finally "getting" is that maybe there are a few players who do things for themselves, without the price to pay to the experts. Experiment with sets, specific locations of play, and analysis of results obtained at these specific locations, where there might be specific indicators as to how to set and how to bet on the shooter in question - themself.

As DeMango often says, this involves work. Fair enough. One thing it does not seem to consider is the effect of the specific dice in use. Even if you are smart enough to observe and record the serial numbers, these are very short-lived and will not reappear at a later date. Doesn't this ever-changing situation offset whatever information you have gained from the data you have recorded?

On another note, and something I have put out before, wouldn't it be better to know the relationship between your sets and dice outcomes AS THEY OCCUR, rather than after the fact?

That 3 pct success rate I would bet is the same for successful non DI's as well. So why pay when their is no increase in success from grandma?

K-Joe; Don't worry about the dice. The casino buys way in advance, and day to day should yield no change. Do your Homework! What could be major is a refelt table

I'm a little curious where this rule is stated. The closest thing to it I could find is, "By using the Site, you agree not to use the Site or any of its features to gather data, request interviews, solicit or engage in any commercial use without Our express, written consent," in the Terms and Rules. In addition, there is a specific Marketplace Section in Roulette Forum where members can advertise systems and products for sale, which suggests business can be promoted, just not conducted, here. Jacob, care to weigh in?

Pretty much boilerplate rules with a few tweaks made to cover my butt, follow them and you won't have to worry about being banned or kicked off this site. I like seeing craps and gambling related content, so if you skirt one of the rules a little bit without offending too many people, it is likely to escape my delete button. Other than that, I'd prefer to just keep letting things work themselves out over time.

Still one of the VERY best sites I've ever posted on. Can't recall an incident wherein Jacob's had to reprimand someone. (SnakeEyes ?) Lol.

Not to say it wont be forthcoming in the future, but certainly none of the "pick up your Toys" bulls--t on this forum. A forum wherein threads are not shut down because of afew disagreements, or because the threads are not supporting someone's business Model.

Just a Super forum with all kinds . Believers in Di. Non Believers, & those that just dont give a shit, one way or another!

Also refreshing to be part of a forum wherein ADMINISTRATION runs the show, & has no need for "Bouncers" to do the dirty work for him!

Well Skulker...(gulp!!)...you're absolutely right, there isn't a non-spamming clause in the forum rules that I could locate. That being the case, I believe I might have let my mouth overload my ass! Well, it's certainly not the first time, and my opinion that this forum is ill served by those promoting their own commercial agenda is just that, my opinion.

    Spam versus Advertising.

There is no difference, other than one is mooching and the other pays up front to get the attention of a market this site provides.

I see no problem with Advertising, paid up front for a period of time to Jacob and Company. The green border to your immediate RIGHT is where similar designed threads fit advertising.

You need not click to read or follow the advertising. Client pays... the Crapsforum receives a pittance of return for time and investment.

Another tough night for spammers. Maybe time out for new posters or some other hoop to jump through.
