Today there were 2 new posting on body and beauty aids, posted by 2 new members who never posted before. I think the Admin should stop this sort of posting as it has nothing to do with craps, but even more importantly if left gone unchecked will spread.

When it comes to spam, lamentably when you build a better mouse trap someone builds a better mouse. Jacob does a fine job of "despamming" his forums IMHO; you'll be hard pressed to find an actual spam post still around 24 hours after it has been reported. And therein lies the key: report the spam.

I was an IT geek in my pre-retirement life. Part of my job was to develop small applications, and balancing security and usability was always an issue. An application -- and a forum is just a specific type of application -- can be so secure that no one wants to take the time to use it. I do not think there is any way to prevent absolutely all spam without also preventing timely on-topic discourse. Report the spam; Jacob will take care of it.

Some people live the spam life. Frank Scoblete for example. He also lives the sock puppet life. It's all about the money. He has been banned from other dice sites. But he is allowed to post links and sell books here. Give away a few too, all a ruse.

Somebody has to, most, who have not been on the dice boards for the last ten years don't know all the stories. At the time it seemed escapees from GTC, were in fear, comparable to escaping Scientology. The reason I get so worked up, is the suck ups that just don't know.

I know a few of these ex class takers and they all feel ripped off. I know one lost 32,000 grand thinking his new found shot was going to win him thousands. These hookups they do thier instructor buys in at 350 and makes 1200 off the students. Big red flag if you ask me. Now I still believe some shoot better than others for some reason. I see this at my local place but for the most part you are going to spend a lot of money and waste a ton of time.

Frank made his money off his books and not for banging the Casinos in the head.

I believe this DI thing is going to die off. The success rate is too damn low, look at how many have vanished for this site,Its in the hundreds.
They like to brag so I don't its b/c they were successful and left.

Guys like gargoil,Dave and Tabletop23 are doing well with DI and I'm not the one too call anyone a liar. So keep banging away.

    is this a 9 y/o?

howsilly is he that maybe after losing 10 grand, he says to himself, well, this isn't working out.
I don't understand how people could lose 32000 dollars and then blame someone else, oh wait, he is a DI shooter.
come on...........lets be real..............your friend who lost 32000 dollars has a gambling problem if he thought he was going to win and then dropped that kind of dough.
He needs to seek help, not help from DI instructors, shrink kind of help.

as far as spam........Im sure the site administrator, Jacob, has a life.
I don't think he can spend all his spare time him preventing spam, so I think he deserves a little credit and we need to cut him some slack and not complain about spam.
Seems to me he handles it well.

tough to say, but whos fault is that?

anyone buying into any stories that promise riches must 100% absolutely do their research first.
Nothing on earth comes easy without work.
40 billion dollar casinos don't get financial backers for no reason.
Casinos are profitable businesses when run correctly.
1 in 10 million people can beat a casino at its own game, and usually its in blackjack or they outright cheat.
If he had 6 grand to shell out on DI classes, he must have enough money that 6 thousand dollars isn't going to take food off his table, so its more like a lesson learned.
I would gladly teach someone how to play craps with low ha bets for just the price of lunch.

Either a combination of politics, poverty, crime, and decadence OR dice influence (largely but not entirely the handiwork of the Dice Thug) is responsible for the demise of some but not all Jersey gambling joints.

DO NOT Put TableTop in the "Beating the Casinos" Category. THAT would be a Total Fabrication, & Down Right Lie!!!!! Had my Asshole Ripped out during my Last Outing, & If you DIDN'T notice, I am CERTAINLY spending more time on these Forums than I am in the Casinos. THAT should tell you Something. Bullsh**t, Marvelous, Well Versed, Deft, Mechanical, Precision-like Toss aint making me a Motherf****ing Dime. Toss is "Spot On", Bank Roll is "Solid", Betting, & Money Management, & "Stop Loss" is in order. STILL, AINT MAKING A FRIGGIN PENNY!!!! Maybe when the New joint opens up, My "Luck" will change. Don't need luck Because I'm a DI? DON"T FRIGGIN KID YOURSELF!!! Better to deal in Reality, than Make Believe!!!!

    Posting here hoping Jacob reads.
I don't think anyone would mind if you deleted threads started by spammers. Sure some of us have wasted time with our witty remarks. And some of us don't understand that any thread Scoblete starts is spam, but hey I'm just the watchman on the wall doing his job, speaking the truth to those who haven't been through the dice wars of the last 15 years or so.

I believe I've cleared the main threads that triggered this post now, but if I missed something, you know what to do. Nobody had reported those threads overnight, and I was busy this morning so I didn't take a deeper look in my early morning pass through here and missed them, that's all. No major policy change -- If you keep reporting the spam, I'll keep deleting it.

The spam I was referring to way back on August 13th had nothing to do with craps, gambling, casinos, it was so far removed from gambling of any kind, "f"ing beauty aids, is the reason behind my original post.
