No! They're relatively rare, under most circumstances. The spin has to be imparted in just the right plane, for a cube to stand on one corner and spin. As for "skill" I've never claimed any "skill" for throwing the dice. I just notice things that most people don't. In the early 80's, they changed the protocol for shuffling the cards in blackjack, and when they did, that game, was not as much fun to play anymore.
I was also curious. This is what I found. Looks like you can see the roll simultaneously on your personal screen and the big screen.
And I guess this is the solo bubble craps? Somebody please tell me if there's a time limit in shooting. That's my biggest beef with the bubble.
Those look like the ones at the "D" on Fremont street. There's no timer. If you want to take a phone call and talk to someone for 5 minutes etc., you can. If fast play is your preference they did add 5 second delay before you can roll again on the machines with the latest software version. I like to play fast and that change took me a little while to adjust to. You tap the button in the center or either of the buttons on the side in the pinball flipper location to roll the dice. The center button is broke on the left one. If a button isn't lit up green it isn't functioning.
This is basically the set up that is being installed in most Station properties. Red Rock has terminals on both sides of the “stage”.
Night Attack I miss read your reply my answer to your question was for the stadium crap game my apologies Champ I haven't had the chance to play a single seat machine it sounds that you are correct about having a line bet
On the single seat machines you need min. bet action working anywhere to roll the dice. It doesn't have to be a line bet. A friend lays the 4/10 on comeout rolls. I see a lot of field only players on these. Most pay triple on the 12. I always want a line bet so it doesn't effect me.
Stadium Style at Sunset Station. No craps on this one.... Gotta love that glass ceiling. 113 over there today....hot as hell. I’m on the west side where the elevation climbs and the temps are normally around 6-7 degrees cooler. It makes a difference. Terminal setup....
I've seen several of these stadium things, but I'm yet to see one that employs a set of bubble dice. Wonder why?
These single seat bubbles, don't seem to be getting much action. I was expecting to see people waiting on line to play one.
Poker room and Sports book. May not look it but biggest crowds I’ve seen in the sports book since this whole shit storm began. I can’t be sure, but I think the guy in the Bruins shirt has changed hats from a safari hat. Looks familiar. Didn’t know him to be a poker player, though.
If you never heard of it, how did you know it was a "bet"? huh, huh? You like it, because it pays even money, rather than that 6/5 fraction, those "sucker" place bettors get. It's definitely YOU. In any case, with $1 min. And $2000 max, this appears to be an ideal venue, on which to run system plays, assuming an honest drop of the dice. The question would be, can you play a Doey-don't, utilizing only a single terminal? If this bet is not allowed, then I believe it indicates that the game is "suspect".
