They are willing to fly me to Laughlin for free. It states three night but does not out and say rooms are paid for.

Going to call and verify free rooms but is this something anyone else has done?? Stay is at Harras..

When I went a couple months ago with the wife they charged a $60 "'convenience fee". Everything else was free.

I feel that the Harrah's in Laughlin is very run down and showing it's age. You can always rent a car and drive to Vegas, which is what we did.

    SCH,

When you call, ask them also for a couple of night freebies at Harrah's New Mexico. It can't hurt, right? ;)

When a person decides to stay at a Caesar's property , they should call and
    ask for comps
When you arrive , they might even increase it if you ask
This coming Thursday my wife , daughter and I will be in Vegas , we get free rooms
my daughter will ask for an upgrade , she has never been denied , one trip
she got one hell of an upgrade , TV even in the bathroom a hot tub spa or whatever
that thing is called in the living room
When a person goes they should Always ask for upgrades ,
Some might be surprised at what they can get
On one trip two of my daughters friends showed up we were even able to get them a room comped , It never hurts to check , see what they will do

All good advice. Keep em coming. We have to pay a $60.00 Admin fee. Rooms are on their website @$21.00 a night. They are dropping our luggage in the room and us on the casino floor. Hmmmmm. Wonder what a bottle of water costs. Only real draw is the sunshine, beach, Pools which may not be open depending on wind. Getting out of Minnesota in January is almost necessary.
I imagine they are going to bus the whole plane to Harrah's... never have been to Harra's in New Mexico. i like that idea. Room upgrade was on my mind. Would be nice to get a free meal or two...

When you go in to check in , it always pays to request lowest rates and /or upgrades , you can sometimes get what you request

setting, yes, harrahs is not a new modern casino. so what.
its a casino, and we were there 2 months ago, we paid 40 dollars for a room, original room was 17 plus fees.
we upgraded to 40 a night, then when we arrived we requested the rate for a suite(everything is negotiable). We misunderstood, they didn't explain it correctly, but we got a suite, and for the price, I don't recall now, around 100 a night, there was absolutely nothing wrong with the room, other than a bit dated, but clean and bed was ok. I posted pictures of the room here if you find the thread,

when you check in ,since its a freebie, you should ask for an upgrade, Im sure for an extra 40-60 a night you can get a suite overlooking the river. If you are going during a school holiday, make sure you stay in adult tower, otherwise, if no kids around, doesn't matter, we didn't stay in adult tower, but no kids around. (even if that stuff bothers you, it doesn't bother us)

flying in for free, that's a great comp, you are already way ahead, free rooms, Im sure they'll add some free food, hope you win a bundle to round it off and make it a great trip.
If you want to see run down, go into pioneer club, look up at ceiling, looks like its about to cave in on you.

harrahs has a decent pool area with hottub and a small beach on river, but way too rocky for us,

everyone we eountered in harrhas was pretty nice, staff, just our little misunderstanding at checkin, but rest of place was ok.

btw, when I was there, no one at table during daytime till later in afternoon, we weren't there over a weekend, and it was pretty dead in casino. but table always had dealers on it

I doubt the pool will be open in January. isn't it only in the 50s and 60s there that time of year?
sun sets early, pool is on east side of hotel, no sun in afternoon.

Yep. They will bus you from the Airport to Harrah's, and back to the airport the day you leave. The day we arrived one of the buses was in Vegas for maintenance and they were too cheap to rent a replacement bus so we set outside 45 minutes waiting for the bus to come back. The Bullhead City terminal is small and once you walk out the door to wait for the bus you're stuck in a fenced in area. They won"t let you go back in the terminal.

It's pretty obvious that when you first signed up on this forum you fat fingered your name and really meant to hit the key next to the U.
