Great story. A good friend found a 1968 Ford Fairlane. One of only 2 made in 1968 with a Factory 428 Cobra Jet package. He found it in a garage all covered up. The soldier's mother agreed to sell it and he bought it for $3300. Not sure of anything condition wise not even knowing it was a 428. All he could see was the back end of it. He has been in a few magazine articles. Another was being setup when the Pandemic forced the Mag out of business.
