Question of the day. Over-expose, or under-expose?
Considering the nature of the game i.e. short rolls, 7Out takes all,
how does one feel about being under-exposed?

But wait...are you saying - leave potential winnings on the table by turning your bets off or pulling them down? Well, when the 7 hits, guess what, money's gonna be left on the table, anyway.
Maybe it's time to think about getting in & getting out before the 7 hits - no matter how many more numbers the shooter rolls. Repeat to yourself: "I don't care...I don't care"Short of getting it perfect, maybe accept less to win more?
Consider your own indicators, any way you want to work it.
Patience just might give your bankroll new life.
Incremental; Slow & steady. Just the right expose!
    Play the long game.

This isn't sex boys...you're free to pull out early.

I enjoy the 3 yards and a cloud of dust game much more than the Hail Mary style of play.

We're all different players, but I don't like the getting out or going smaller while winning CBK. I go small enough with the normal starting play, with the intention of losing small if I am going to lose, something that happens way more often than I would like.

You did say that we should use our own indicators. Absolutely, the player should play however he wants to.

Then again, I am not a place bettor nor much of a multiple bet player. The only way my wagers get big is with consecutive winners that keep showing, and I ain't stopping the increases until the loser shows.

The most powerful words in the game...." I'm off"........I've said it hundreds of times and it has saved me a TON.....however, I cannot argue with what KoKO said........I admire a player like that........I must tell you also, I have let it ride many times as well, but not as often....over the years I have developed into a more conservative player.

I have said many times that this "Due" thing and this "Streak" thing drives me a little crazy.....the guy on my left shoulder says..." go for it...let it ride....don't be a chicken shit, GO FOR IT...THIS IS THE ONE"..................the guy on my right shoulder says......" keep your head....where is this discipline you always talk about.....you've already got a decent score.....that friggin' 7 hasn't shown in a looong time and you KNOW she'll show in the next roll or two.....don't lose that 600 on the table......take it down and build her back up......you'll be sorrrry "

Sometimes the Left wins....sometimes the Right........it's one of those feely, artsy things that carries the day.

What did Sun Tzu, George Washington,
Sam Houston, Ho Chi Min, Gandhi
Martin Luther King & Nelsen Mandela
    all know?
That you don't need to win,
    you just need...to not lose.
They were patient until it it was
clear that they had the advantage.
    They knew victory was in
    the long game.

I’ll give you the start of my system.

    18-24-24-54-66.

    Or

    12-12-24-24-54-66

If you just use that. You’ll beat the casino overtime. Cuz you pay your bets, double em and collect again. Which means you pull 15(14)+28 out of 12 or 18$ you invest. After, do whatever you want, play your profits.

    Do not mistake my softness
    for weakness, my yielding
    for cowardice, my compliance
    for acceptance, or my silence
    for ignorance. I've come into
my "soft power". Against all odds,
I now play to my "yin" advantage.
    I'm patient, intuitive w/good timing.
And when things are going my way
to put the petal to the metal.
    I play the long game.

It becomes impossible to lose once you are playing
with house money only. Most winning strategies employ
that principle as part of their overall betting strategy

Does it need to manifest right now?
    You're lackful & blocking it.
Am I perfectly fine without it?
    You're abundant & allowing it.

    Time is not running out.
    There's no time shortage.
    Don't rush what's perfectly
    orchestrating. Taking a swan
    dive in the shallow end,
can be painful. Can you not
wait until the deep waters of
    abundance surround you?
    Can you not be patient
& see how time is a
    silent weapon, the
    casino does not have?
Use time wisely, for it offers
    a powerful advantage.
    Play the long game...

You stated: "you don't need to win, you just need...to not lose." However there are many on this board that will say playing to not lose is not the same as playing to win. Your thoughts on this?

Thanks for your insightful question. Let me share my thoughts.

Every general in a weaker position knows, you cannot come at the enemy straight on, guns blazing, ‘cause he’s got more guns. G. Washington’s first major battle in Brooklyn was “OMG…run-for-your-lives.” And he didn't stop running, tiring the “redcoats” out for most of the next 6 yrs. until Trenton, Valley Forge & Yorktown. (my history is shaky here)

Sam Huston was called a traitor by his own men for "forgetting the Alamo” & putting his rag-tag militia on a humiliating “retreat” for months, until he surprised Santa Anna one early morning. It was over in 17 minutes.

Speaking of Washington, Ho Chi Minh was so impressed with his “long game” strategy, he used it as a model against the US - avoid catastrophic defeat, maintain resources, & wait for your opportunities. In other words, pick your fights & pick 'em where & when you’ve got the advantage. So play not to lose, until you’ve got the upper hand – then play to win.

The casino is the brute in this game. It’s their house, their rules & every rule favors the house. Statistically, they’ve got it locked up. Every bet’s a bad bet. You can’t beat the casino on the math, nor can you win playing their game. So, what hope have we?

Let me answer it this way, “nothing is ever as it seems”. Every bet's a bad bet…on paper, until it’s not. There's always a crack in the armor; a window of opportunity. Even the monster has to sleep. And when it presents itself, BAM - you do not hesitate. "Providence is upon us men! History favors the bold. Muster the troops & give it all you’ve got." Play to win.

Which begs the question, how does one recognize one's opportunities? In my mind, rather than play the math – you must play the energy. Know thy table, observe; employ situational awareness, pick your time & means of engagement. Play your game. Commit scant resources until you’ve done your Intel. Consider no contract bets. Leave nothing exposed for long. Less is more.Going slowly gets you there faster.

Ask yourself, “Do I have an advantage here, or am I just hoping?” If you’re a DI, “Is my shot working? Am I in the zone?” If not - be patient. All things seek a balance, so they're changing & eventually they change in your favor. Use time to your advantage, in whatever way is meaningful to you. In other words, “Play the long game.”

If a guy's satisfied to "not lose", he had that before he went through the door. If you're game plan is to not lose, what the hell do you need the casino for? Let's face it, we go to the casino to WIN!, not to break even. Damn, what stupid concept, " I'm going to the casino and see if I can break even" WTF.

    good advice.
    Right.
The casino math is exactly why
players are playing the game the casino wants them to play.

here is a dice setter , setting 6s he rolled
8 of them in 23 rolls
I knew before I posted it what he threw I logged each throw.

    with a $6 bet
    On the first 6 hits
The players pulling each win would have $42
    People pressing would have $468

    With a $12 bet
    on the first 6 hits
The players pulling each win would have $84
The player pressing would have $1144

So you're saying a player should press? But if we did that, and reported it in a trip report, TD would call us a liar and a troll. Then FredP and Liman would join in and call us an inbred liar and a troll, and a sack of shit. Hey, I like this strategy already, I'm "DOWN".
