This is Barney, Mr. VD...the LID use to play on small table or tub of the craps when he was using the time shifting devices a couple of years ago in attempt to verify Opie's claim of a 99% win rate at the craps. Here's picture I took of such craps play on the tub....however these most greatest personages gave the LID much heat for being a craps DI and tossed him out of saloon...Although they did have many chickys at the establishment. Thank you very much
I played a few tubs and like them. It took me awhile to adjust to the shorter distance. The back wall is so close it’s like playing with long arms. A slow easy toss worked well for me. Those I played had only one employee functioning as both stick and box and they opened after closing the regular tables in the wee hours.
Long time ago I played at a single dealer bath tub, er, craps table and didn't care for it. Just didn't feel right -- in large part because I wasn't used to the really compacted space. Similar type of awkwardness to shooting 20' bank shots on an old school half-oval backboard after playing for years on courts where the basketball goals had the large rectangular backboards.
I doubt i will stay that late at night to be able to play on it. Looks interesting and dont care much for that casino.
Is this better? 4&10 $15 each compared to the $30 on the 6 or 8 power press. First off you have 6 ways to get a hit compared to 5 plus you get paid nearly double.Three hits and you are at a $100 not too bad! Comments?
no it's not recommended... they don't come in enough. Just yesterday at the casino I was betting the powerpress 30 on the 10 as mentioned from another member. started with buy30 then dropped 3 chips to buy90 followed by a next win going to 250... It is a tough battle... even though each win would pay me 500 chips, it's not consistent as compared to betting the 6 & 8. I've also created a wincraps script for the POWER PRESS 4&10 and tested it... every simulation resulted in -amount.
sorry my friend... I can send you the script and you can run as many rolls on it as you like... every simulation I ran on it resulted bad bet. Trust me I thought the same way and that's why I created the script. I would love to hit continuous $500 wins from 4-10 unfortunately the 6 & 8 show much more consistency.
A single 6 or 8 will never out hit the combination of the 4&10. Six chances out of 36 compared to 5 . Game over So the 7 coming out is equal to a 4 or 10 hitting.A better situation
Many occasions I will see 6 or 8 get rolled 3-4 times per shooter... anyway. here is a demo of the power press 4 & 10 strategy.
I've proved this many times in both Wincraps simulations and also my little card board box craps setup and also at the casino. Dude! it's a great idea knowing the payouts are 2 to 1 on the 4 & 10 but there are 14 shooters at the craps table and at least 4-5 of them will not even roll a single 4 or 10. this is not consistent even though some days you can cash in a cool $1000 in profits if not more. but it's not gonna happen every day.... The six & eight show more consistency for the long term play and also profits and also giving me 10 chances to show vs. 6 chances for a seven. I would definitely consider betting the 4 & 10 when the DI's rolling outside numbers have the dice. that betters the probabilities by at least 50%
Dave think about it for a second... 1) 4 can be rolled 3 ways and pays 2:1 2) 10 can be rolled 3 ways and pays 2:1 3) 7 can be rolled 6 ways sounds pretty fair. I've played many sessions of craps since 1996 and i've also played many different ways including hedging, martingale, doey/dont's... paired numbering strategies and more. Unless you use a dice set to roll for those specific numbers, you can never win with 4 & 10 wave patterns far to far fetched and not consistent. what may work for the long term is to incorporate a reverse martingale 2,4,8,16,32 and hope for one single win giving you a profit.
Dave if you like I can run many simulations on the four/ten using any of your requested styles. Who knows maybe can come up with something that works very well with more consistency.
I am talking about just random shooters not a DI' setting for 6&8' s. In either case ling roll hands are few so you would be fighting an uphill batyle usually with either approach.
The pressed amount after 3 hits depends upon whether you're assuming 3 hits total (e.g., split 2 & 1 between the 4 & 10) or 3 hits on the same number (e.g., the 4 is hit 3x, the 10 is not hit).
