The optimum time for ME is tossing 1-2 hands, or 25% of my buy-in. Whichever comes first!!!

    Night attack,

At 9.5 to 1, the HE on the HW is 4.54% which is better than the 9.09% for 9 to 1. When the $100 hits, you have won $950. I would pocket $650, increase my HW to $200, and place the 6 for $300. Any 6 will give you a minimum of $150 profit.

It has been a while since I was on the most greatest roll,:)

But I just dont pay any attention to them unless they hit me
right between the eyes. If your locked in with a GTC or PARR
    shot it makes sense.

I know I have bet them when a table seems to be producing them for
everyone...but over-all I miss that play 90% of time and yes it can be
    big money quick.

I am to dumb to make big money quick..

My version of the Triple Gramalkin Hardway Knight Strike Fantasy Vault Cleaner, laid back position (degree of difficulty 3.1; 3.4 with optional half twist). Stipulated: $10 Hard 6, pressed to $100 if hit. What to do after second hit. $10 table.

I subscribe to the mantra, "Limit your losses, not your gains." OTOH I also now subscribe to the mantra, "Get your stake off the table ASAP." Hitting a hard 6 parlay lets me mantra out of both sides of my mouth.

As I understand it you now have $971 ($950 for hardway, $21 for place bet) in winnings and are up for $100 on the hard 6 and $18 on the place 6.
    • Rack all winnings.
    • Hard 6 regresses to $10.
    • Add $10 each hard 4, 8, and 10.
    • Place 6 presses to $30.
    • Place 8 for $30.
    Total action: $100.
Optional half twist for the crew if table mins do not apply to dealer bets: Place $12 each 6 & 8, $2 on all hardways, all bets under your control.

No doubt the smart money is to put those winnings in your pocket but even smarter money never sees the inside of a casino. Yet, here we are.

I have a different strategy to try and win 20-25% of my buy in and a different one to try and double my buy in. The greater the buy in the smaller that win percentage will be for me and a 'Top 'n Run' makes a whole lot of sense.

I buy in for $200 and it's as rare as hens teeth to turn that $200 into $2k plus, so while I'm in front I would like to give it a crack and at worse I will walk out at least +$600 for hitting that black action hardway. I'd have taken that outcome every day of the week before leaving the house.

Remember, I will only try this if I am in front with winnings in my rail or that is the plan at least.

Whodat, I think I would pocket $550 give or take since my place bet on the 6 already has $18 on it, but point taken. Thanks.

Midnight, dealers are not allowed to accept gratuities for fear of collusion. I believe that to be the case all over this island.

When the game is in progress
"You know exactly what you should do"
    When the roll is over
"You know exactly what you should have done"

How many times have you said , "DAMN IT I SHOULD HAVE ?????
The real question is how many times do you want to wish you had
    gone all in and didn't?

We don't regret so much the things we did
It's the things we didn't do we regret most

Failing to take FULL ADVANTAGE of BIG OPPORTUNITIES when
they present themselves and we are betting with house money
falls into those , "DAMN I WISH I HAD" moments that
are so rare for most players

    Night Attack,

Just where do you GAMBLE, Canada???

It is U.S. TAX COURT POLICY that any Single Bet bet (in the U.S.A.) which results in a payout of $1200 or more, be issued to the recipient on a GAMBLING W-2G Form, which the recipient can have TAXES taken out & submitted to the U.S. Treasury by the Casino, or decline to do so.

In any case, that WIN Of $1200 or more on a ""SINGLE BET"" is to be issued a W-2G Form by the Casino. Thus a $400 bet on Hard 6 would be issued a W-2G, while that $300 bet on the 6 would not be taxed assuming it won.

Huge wins are as rare as long rolls.

THAT is why I NEVER want to handle the dice more than twice per session. Dice Influencing my Ass.

It's also safer for him to stay put. Most ducks I see here have a strange glow, are skinned and hanging upside down in an Asian restaurant window.

This is not as negative as it sounds SIR. From this starting point, things can only get better. It's a way to use negativity, as a positive. I use a similar strategy when putting. I tell myself, "there is no damned way that anybody could make this putt" and then try to prove myself wrong. Works better for me, than standard way.
