Hi Liman - never been through anything like that before. The back was so stiff/painful that I could barely walk. Turned into a real SOB for a good while there. Didn't have any trouble with the knee replacement a couple of years ago, then a sore back knocks me down for a couple of weeks???

The MD couldn't figure anything out and tried to give me percocet, but I told him to keep it & ended up just using tylenol/motrin.

Chiro got sick of seeing me all the time, but finally got things feeling better.

I felt bad about missing you, but was really hung up for a couple of weeks there, barely able to get into work.

Haven't played in months, and it's (both the back and the lack of play) not bothering me a bit!

Folks, # 1 is # 1 for a reason, one needs to get SERIOUS about CRAPS, or they will remain a randy!

I wil try to get Pa\rt 2 of 2 out, but give up with a dozen or so ""Resource Limit Reached" responmses from the server.

The reason I mentioned it is my nephew does this for a living....He has studied under several masters in China and in Cali.......he is steeped in the subject as well as into herbs.......this is a many thousand year old discipline and has survived this long for a reason.....the key is to find someone with experience and who has really studied the subject.

Strange shit but I will not dismiss it.

    Part 2 of 3

    7) If you wish, sign up for one of the many ""Seminars"" on Craps Shooting, (all for a $$$ Fee). Take whatever you think you have "Learned There" & repeat # (3) above.

    8) When you have Proven (Through Graphical Visualization) that you have mastered ""Dice Control"" keep on practicing to solidify those techniques that have yielded results as in (7) above.

    9) Now head to a Casino & Hit the Craps Tables. Recall that each Casino will likely have slightly different Dice Bounce Characteristics & your technique may not work at all Casino's.

    10) If you WIN as in (9) congratulations, you have mastered ""Dice Control"". If you loose, try another Casino, it may suite your technique better.

Here's something to help you remember those pass line winners that sometimes come in bunches. "Don't rack it...stack it!"

    Thank me very much

    This is Barney,

As mentioned previous, the LID recently hurt back while flossing but it seemed to help his tossing of dices. It reminded him of importance of the parallax effect in his most amazing toss. However, he knows back pain is big pain in ass much like the Eaglesky forum personage.

Koko, I use to be plagued with back issues till the VA put me on 'gabipenten'.

tptb don't really know how it works but once your on it for 4-6 weeks the pain just kind of disappears/moderates...

...and it doesn't bind you up either.

To get back on topic I have been using the 2nd PL winners to play hard 6&8 in hope of pulling off a James Hall special.

    Why not?

My craps budget of 300 a month is money saved from giving up a dirty habit many moons ago...it's money I can safely lose...<but I don't play that way.

And it was here on the CF, back some time ago that I was given the idea to let the pass line winners ride. So thanks.

A martial arts student went to his teacher &
asked earnestly, “I am devoted to studying
Kung Fu. How long will it take me to master it?”
The teacher replied casually, “10 years.”
Impatiently, the student said, “But I want
to master it faster than that. I'll work hard.
Practice every day,12 hrs. a day if I
have to. How long will it take then?”
The teacher thought for a moment,
    ...“20 years.”

koko, you don't need me giving any medical advice, Ive had 2 disketomys/laminectomy L4L5 region

I know you've discussed this plenty with your docs, but being youre always on your feet in one position, it can be as simple as adjusting your stance, maybe stretching in between seeing every few patients, something, I know when I stood 10-12 hours a day behind the counter I had horrible issues, then I started stretching at work, put a foot stool 6 inches off the ground to alternate my stance, all those things helped me immensely, like I said, the smallest changes sometimes helps the most.

most of my back issues came from being overweight, as I played tennis 3 days a week minimum on cement courts, ruined my back and my knees.

but aggravating at work all the time.

best of luck with the back, hope you feel better soon, at least soon enough before my next trip out to Pittsburghwashington pa..

    This is Barney,

Mr. Lieman you are mistaken. Using the LIDs suppercomputer I watched the Mr. Koko (not the monkey) toss the dices in the Pittsburg local casino. The LID classifies the Mr. Koko as a so-called "Dice Whisperer" which is described in LIDs best selling book "The Game of Craps" on the pages 1,024 to 1,650 Most of the time the Koko sets the dice to specific axles and then crazily tosses them up the table. After the dices stop he then whispers either "Safe, Not Safe, or Oh Shit." He gets many funny looks from the craps crew for this approach.

634 pages? I've done the math. That is one gynormous goat of a chapter! I'm considering this book, for my vast Craps library, but I think I"m gonna need a bigger library. And what's the odds of one's brain turning to feta cheese after reading it?
