Yep...ya need a conglomeration of events, not just 1 falling off. It's like chasing the wild card with 3 teams above you.

Night Attack called it...HornhiYo coming on strong. 5-0.

Biggest shocker has to be the Texans no showing today. They've been as consistent as the weather...but today looked like they just were not prepared to play a football game. That's likely more coaching than anything else. Almost as if they thought the celebration win over the Patriots lasts 2 weeks.

Worst officiating in any game today
The officials killed the Brady bunch with at least 3-4 missed calls
They stole a touchdown from New England

Not "worst" Liman, "most effective" would be a more accurate call. The officials are there to officiate, but they also function as "equalizers" when called upon.

I wasn't specifically referring to this one game, but the NFL in general. It's show-biz so, what ever it takes so that the show goes on.

    I know. I agree with you 100%.

NFL refereeing is horrible AND GETTING WORSE. The inconsistencies and outright refusing of overturning bad calls via instant replay is a disgrace. The game has changed to the point where offensive and defensive pass interference are occurring on every play. Obvious missed calls are impacting maybe 20% of all games and/or point spreads. With all of the money being bet every week, we're getting to the point when the integrity of the game will be questioned.

Refereeing use to be better. Some rule changes have made things worse. I shouldn't be surprised because so many things in this country and world are worse today than yesterday.
In fact, most things that matter are.

I really think that the quality of refereeing is more detrimental to the game than kneeling, abuse of women and that other stuff. But as long as the league continues making more and more money, Roger and the owners will allow problems to go unsolved.

    On to Cincinnati.

The Saints also kind of got caught up on the rules with their fake punt pass. If it was a QB called pass play...it's pass interference. Even if not called it can be challenged. Since it was a punt fake....it sounds like the rules for pass interference are much more "lenient"....as in it can't be called. It was definitely a hold....but those guys are usually ripping each other's heads off on a typical punt.

Running 17-16-1....with 1 game left. I think bases stays on top regardless. If memory serves this was the first tie (Colts/Buccs) game since maybe week 1 or 2?

I didn't think the Raiders would put up 3 pathetic games in a row. Never underestimate Chuckie. Live and learn.

Mass mailings keep the shouts, louts and touts in business.

They really do send out "Winning Picks". It's just that the "Choice, Winning Picks" sent out often vary from "client to client" so there is always winning witnesses in every sport/game willing to verify / backup the win along with trolls eager and willing to boast as well. You just don't hear about all the losing letters sent out.
Much like the so called craps experts that try to make a buck selling lessons if they really could make a reliable, comfortable income playing the game they claim to know so well; they wouldn't need to hawk their "secret" methods.

Thanks YaYa! Last week I had 'em over easy with crispy bacon and toast. This week I had 'em scrambled with ham. :)
I meant to ask you, do you use regular, large or extra large eggs?
