Is this the forerunner to the Bohunk Challenge? Sounds like an easy way to make some extra $$$ at the casino.

Where did the Crazymr run off too? I like his level-headed response to beating the game......Dice Influencing ( Here we go again! Lol), Just plain Darn lucky, & "Bet Timing"( which I equate to being LUCKY)! I think OAP calls it "dancing between the raindrops", or something like that! Lol

the bohunk challenge might in fact include such a bet.

perhaps a proposition such as 10 rolls or more before a 7-out with 9 or less being a loser...additional extensions/additions to the bet could even be attached, eg a higher payout for 15 rolls, 20 rolls etc.

to make it even more interesting a rare "contingency" clause might be attached to the payouts, although this would certainly limit participation to the views of known DIers and known random rollers on here (& possibly posters on other forums if known) with a special, unique category for tabletop...

this would be fun but problematical...the thinking here is a slightly different payout for avowed DIers & for admitted RRs...a bit weird, but again fun. the decision as to who is a DI & who is a RR would be left solely to the booker putting up the money and whose decision would be final.

since the average roll length is not really all that much lower than 9, the payout for a DI would probably be even money, for a random roller maybe something like 6 to 5...for tabletop perhaps something in between.

THE BOHUNK WOULD BE OPEN TO NEGOTIATE THE PAYOUTS HERE AND FURTHER OPEN TO THIS AS A "ONE OFF" that is not "formally" adding it to the bohunk challenge as an on-going bet.

one difference between this prop and most of the rest of the challenges is that its resolution would be of relatively short duration---even a 25 to 30 roll hand does not take ALL that long relative to the other bets in the bc...thus this bet might conceivably be made several times in a given session or sessions...this fact would probably also mean a lower max bet amount than most of the bc's maximums.

<<<<<<<<edit: another major difference with this prop would be that the participant could not "pick and choose" completely which rolls "count"...ALL rolls count once the bet has started...one may however choose to start the count at ANY point, for example in the so-called "middle" of a roll instead of the actual come out roll if, for example, one feels that he will be on a hot roll going forward...once the participant says "go" however all subsequent rolls would count.>>>>>>>>

the booker, believing that all rolls are random, would go in only on the basis of a mathematical advantage in the bet based upon that belief...thus warned, any participants would be---or should be---going in with eyes wide open... iow buyer beware...OTOH, given the asserted skills of some, it should be a piece of cake.

    fun, eh?

I got the impression that 7craps was making money on this as a side bet wager, which of course, casinos frown on. But I can see how you might incorporate it into the BC.

    House Edge
    past 9 rolls: 4.1827904%
    past 10 rolls: 17.3360314%

Why do I know this stuff?
I use this bet against DI shooters.
I make it a friendly bet that they will 7out by the 10th roll. 10 rolls they win, 9 or less I win and sometimes when I see them rolling great I make it 2 out of 3 to get past 11 rolls
I use the even money payout, sometimes 1.5 times when the bet gets over $100
I have made some great money on this over the years. Even from friends.

    Again, great side bet idea
    Good Luck!
