I will be heading down for a night of uninterrupted craps play tonight. Wife is going to be enjoying a girls night with friends, and I will be enjoying a comped room...although I may not see much of the room, as I am a night owl and am excited to apply some of the ideas I've been reading on the forum. As a new, uninformed craps player, I typically just do "whatever", have fun, and try not to break the bank. Tonight I'm going in with a different state of mind. I am still allowing myself to have fun, but will be "systematic" in my approach. I also want to concentrate on bankroll management, as that is something I always struggled with...especially later in the night when the juices are flowing. I will post a follow up during or after my session and maybe I can get some insight as to what I am doing wrong/right. I am one of those folks who can play hours and hours, without getting bored or fed up with choppy tables, so I will try to take plenty of breaks...maybe grab a meal or two (comped please!). Wish me luck!

Update: 1st session done. First shooter hit the tall with $2 down. Made about $120 on his roll, and proceeded to lose that over the next 3 shooters. Colored out $200 after a $200 buy in. Was playing a 22 inside regression with a dollar here or there on the hardways. Going to grab a drink and go for round 2. Stoked about being even after the first round!

In hindsight, I think I should have gotten out before I had lost all of my winnings. Even is great, but I would of been happy with a little "gas money" as Seven out would say.

Update: session 2 over. Bought in $200 again. Hit the tall bonus AGAIN. Only a dollar on it this time. Lost my winnings on the next shooter. Was able to tip the crew a red chip and leave EVEN AGAIN. still rockin the 22 inside (no regression now). Having a blast! Hit midnight on my one world bet as well. Maybe I should just cash out every time I'm up on a roll....nah...too much fun.

Update: 3rd session over. Bought in $200 AGAIN...hit the tall AGAIN...hit the world AGAIN...proceeded to hit the world 3 times in a row. Hit 12 - 11 - 12 - 12. Took my own advice and colored out after a good roll (happened to be mine this time). $125 up after a $6 tip for the crew. Changed my strategy a bit this time. Played pass line and filled out the inside if the point was inside... switched to 2 come bets with minimum odds if the point was 4 or 10. Screwy I know, but working at the moment. I have hit 4 tall bonuses within 3 hours...pretty strange, but I'm stoked. Dealers suggested I upped my all small tall to a nickel per....what do y'all think?

Don't bet on other players or go dark.

Well, after 13 hours of craps play, I have finally retired to my bed. It was a bat shit crazy, emotional roller coaster. I hit the all once, the small once, and the tall 7 (yes...7) times. I bet rather conservatively, with the occasional hardway/horn/world bet when I was feeling frisky. I ended up EXACTLY EVEN....after 13 hours of craps. That was the most amount of time I have ever spent playing craps...it was quite the bender, and I feel like a craps junkie to say the least. Overall I am extremely pleased with the experience. I had more fun than I ever thought I would. I feel as though I would have been up significantly if I hadn't bet so conservatively... but I really can't complain after ending up even over a 13 hour period. Cheers!

Sounds like you are having a good time. Nothing wrong with being even in that process, although winning is the funnest. Helluva lot better than being red. You can lose sense of time while playing this game. Fun does that.

I assume this is Vegas? Always a good time to be had.
