If you are a pessimist, you probably won't be a craps player very long, if you start at all.

The pessimistic person thinks of what can go wrong and thinks in terms of minimizing negative outcomes. They will tend to go after safe and easy bets!

Now, I've stayed off this board because of all of the negative things that are written by one guys that don't even play real craps. But after last night and the win, Trump had it's time to speak out again. Negative people can be beaten.

TDVegas, is not about having members on this board learning anything about the game, no he is about trying to bullying everybody into thinking like a loser! Oh, wait a minute what happened in this post?

    http://www.crapsforum.com/threads/di-setting-2-approaches.14920/page-7

Doesn't TDVegas say that he has never called anybody a liar?

James Hall, came to this board with something that TDVegas will never have and that is a way to win at the game and right away TDVegas started his attack!

All of you guys that have been posting about Jame Hall, missed the boat when all you had to do was give him a call, after all he posted his phone number and guys like TDVegas could have driven over to see him and see what he was all about! But no, you guys let TDVegas drive you away from James!

If you are a pessimist and a negative player you can't win at craps and will follow in TDVegas foot steps!

Think about it guys do you want to win at craps is that is why you are here or do you want to lose at the game of craps?

Mmmmmm...Isn't that why they come to see you?

James Hall did something very unwise with a "trip report and chip picture"...got caught and probably lost some (all?) standing on past and future craps claims. I'm sure James is a nice guy in his own way...he just did something...well...not good.

We can all move on from the Harrah's fiasco...maybe.

There have been two chip picture fiascoes. Neither one, in my book, can ever recover.

Do yourself a favor and call James, I will give you his phone number the guy was just fucking with Mr. Negative as he told me way before that stupid photo.

Unfortunately, some guys don't think when they are trying to get someone back for all of the bullying that has been done to them.
There was no reason for what happened to James Hall a phone call would have put a stop to it or a drive over to see James and what he has to say about the game and shooting!

It's easy to see how bullying happens on this board when you have guys like TDVegas posting that thinks no one can win at craps.

Hell, he even has Dave, going along with what he does. Pretty damn sad if you ask me about how everybody goes along with a bully!

Sure, TDVegas lives in the Las Vegas area and yes he plays bubble craps but don't think that he spends hours watching guys on the real tables and guess what there DeMango there is no way that you would be playing craps at the Red Rock casino. If you want to know why Pm me or call me and I will tell you but will not post the reason on this or any other board!

I think it was you that spotted the deception with the Harrah's chips. Kudos. I would have never even thought about Harrah's not having a property in NM.

Then he did something even worse...he concocting another lie to try and cover up the chip problem.

    I think you're right...I don't think he can recover.

This is the most asinine statement I've ever seen in my life. First off, I have never stated "no one can win". Second...even if I did---how on earth is that bullying?

If I said (I did not) "you can't win at craps"...THAT is bullying??? What the hell?

Third....Bullying, true bullying could involve calling people "asshole, bitch, shithead"...

Which is what YOU, Rick...have engaged in on this site.

Not sure what is going on with your tirades in the past 24 hours but it's rather pathetic.

Interesting Rick, we will talk later. Red Rock and Alliente are both long trips away from downtown/strip, no need to travel that far!

I don't want to butt in in a thread where Rick is trying to make a statement, but hopefully things have cooled down some here by now.

What I want is more SuperRick videos of casino visits!

When you act like all of the above that is what you get called.

Pathetic, is a guy that writes no one wins at craps and still plays bubble craps! You can try to spin my post any way you can think of but it all comes down to a bunch of guys thinking you are nothing but a bully on this board!
Tell me what you want to see in those videos and I will see what I can do for you!

again, tdvegas does not a single person to speak for him, but I believe on many occasions hes admitted to playing the bubble one dollar a bet, with a couple here and there for odds.
it may just be possible, TDVegas is the last person besides me that just enjoys playing the game, and the bubble offers us a seat, a lower minimum, a more relaxing atmosphere, and overall better experience.
WE KNOW no one can beat this game,(unless they are the luckiest people on the planet) don't matter what people say, but theres no reason we cant play for enjoyment and hope to win every time.

You and I both know that if any of these guys were playing with an advantage (beating the game)..they would not be buying in for the measley $100-$200 they buy in for at the $5 table. Rick just likes to bullshit himself and others into thinking he's playing with some kind of so called advantage...whether that's dice influence, voodoo or some other delusional thinking that he knows what result is coming or he has some "shooting skill".

It's a load a manure. He needs luck to win, like us all and he has NO idea if or when it will arrive during his play. Hence, the $5 table. Hence the $150 buy in.

He's relying on LUCK...like everyone else. Otherwise they would all be gambling much, much higher stakes and playing more than they do. For some ego driven reason, these guys have conjured up in their minds that they play this game with physical skill. It's big man on campus syndrome thinking...Rick thinks he is an authority.

There are schools devoted to convincing these guys they can play this game with more skill than someone else. There are also some big egos here who aren't charging people but just want to feel like they are superior at the game and can impart some skill based delusion to riches. James Hall suffers from the same complex, IMO.

I really don't care how people want to play this game...to each his own. Have fun. Hope to win. Bet small, bet big. Everyone has their own way but when some start to hold themselves up looking down on others play---there's a good chance of rebuttal.

Rick or a 10 year old first time player...it's 50/50 who will have a longer roll. I know some don't want to hear that...but that is reality.

superrick, just your walk throughs of the casinos with commentary are fun, and I can feel like I'm there.

Your visits to 'off strip' casinos like the Station properties are great, cause I haven't visited most of those places.

Views of the Crap's pits are especially interesting!

P.s. don't take any pix if they are having a problem with that

Gee not too long ago when I posted something negative about TD- SR would declare Dice boards need guys like TD to keep it honest and challenge those that he thought were deceivers.
SR has a short memory. Now he is the one attacking TD for doing just what SR posted he should do.Is this making any sense? Lol

Just saw this thread for the first time.

I am pessimistic by nature, and in general do not even enjoy gambling. Have never been a sports bettor, in spite of the fact that between the ages of 10-15 used to go with dad to his favorite club every Sunday after church. He would have a few beers and run into my cousin Butch to place some football bets. Never got into the betting myself. Enjoy the games but not wagering on them.

Other than an occasional weekend game of poker or euchre, always for money and sometimes for semi-big money, craps has been the only gambling for me. Used to play 2-3 x per week every week, but now going in maybe 3-4 times per month.

It is not easy to get a lot of hits playing one bet at a time. Often, the play is boring. It's easier to get hits when on a lot of numbers, but losing is pretty well contained, other than the days when nothing hits for you.

In spite of the fact that I am still a few bucks ahead over a lot of years, I am almost always pessimistic when at play. When I lose 3 or 4 bets in a row, I expect to lose the next one too.

Well, maybe I do become optimistic when the winners come several in a row. Usually when this happens, I do expect to win the next one also, especially since the next one is always bigger, and you should at least have hope.

In spite of the usual prevailing negativism, I still get some nice wins on occasion, and I guess this is what keeps me going back for more. See you there tomorrow. ;)

I really had to read this thread several times to draw some kind of conclusion.

At some point ALL of us were new to the game of craps. How we were lured to the dice makes EVERYONE a novice at the beginning of their craps lives.

One can surely say, that at the beginning they didn t know everything about the game; but after time and gaining experience and building confidence one could become a seasoned player.

Long before the internet and forums, persons relied on books that clearly are one sided looks into someone else s strategy. Interaction between people would happen at the table or through a class offerings.

Instruction classes, which I have attended, offered little insight on strategy other than basic play; and a conversation w/ a player, inquiring what they may have just wagered on a winning bet, may give you something to put into your repertoire of play.

Putting to work what someone has learned has likely given into wins and losses over time; to continue to return to the table for a profitable out come is hardly pessimistic. Maybe wishful thinking for lots of you out there but others trying to bring their play to a higher level.

What could be said is that with in this forum a line of doubters w/ pessimistic outlooks have closed their simply minds to a game that really does have areas of profitability.

It's good to see you making a post, I wanted to know if you had any damage from the hurricane. We got the last plane to Vegas on Fri morning and I left my car there.
Our son and his inlaws are staying at our place because we have power there! So give me a call when you can!
