so you are saying the true students of the game play bubble craps??
Obviously, the venue you play craps at is also important.
Nothing like Live craps, at a big table in the casino. Nothing compares to that adrenaline rush when your numbers start repeating, and the table excitement level rises. This is the best version of the game, no one's arguing that.
The Bubble is cool because of its unique 'enclosed' nature. You sit, you have your own console, you can choose to be social or not. The rush when numbers start hitting is also there.
The virtual versions of the game are another question. People suspect that there is some type of 'fix' in when the numbers are computer generated. But there is no need to 'fix' the game; the game is designed with a House advantage. As long as the numbers are truly random, over time the house always wins.
How true As long as the numbers are truly random the house always wins over time and as TD says nobody can win
I have never read where TDV said no one can win. Certainly people can win at craps, a few can be lifetime winners at the game. That is what variance is all about, it is why most of us play the game....the chance to be a winner is always there!
Since I do not think DI is a viable way to beat the game, I use betting strategies that give me the best chance at having a winning session. I always play to win, and even if you do not believe it, so does TDV!
Played one Bubble machine for a short time. Maybe 25 minutes. Made about $40.. Got lucky rolls. Only bummer was the &10.00 min bet....... Seats were empty about 30% every time I looked that way. If it were $5.00 minimum I bet they would always be full.
Go to Vegas or Reno, you can find $1 and $2 minimums on the bubble.
I have spent a lot of time on the virtual Roulette wheel. I can actually save money there because the time between spins. I always play the minimum or a little more. I limit my losses and try to quit while I'm ahead.
Cool story: i had been playing and there was a small group of Guys betting together on two positions.
I always play #17 and it had not come in at all so my limit reached I left. I hit a slot later and recouped my losses.
On the way out i passed the table and these guys were still there. They were shooting the shit and playing. My old position was open so i played a dollar on #17. As I did I asked the guy if it had come since I left he said No as I placed my bet.
He watched as the ball landed on 17. I took my slip to the cash machine right next to the roulette game. I wasn't there one minute and walked away with the slip. The guy looks at his buddy and says Did he just do that???
TD says you cannot win with betting strategy alone
Was it you who said that?? I get you two mixed up
James Bond's number.
anyone that understands the game and the generation of random outcomes does not let the fact that the dice are tossed by a machine or that they are large disturb them in any way or form.
Seasoned experienced players will approach the bubble with the same vigor they would at a live table.
Is it for every long time craps player, ofcourse not.
there are plenty of players who just enjoy the live table for all the same or opposite reasons someone might enjoy the bubble.
I don't think theres anything wrong with that, not at all, I understand the need for the live table action.
been there done that enough, Im content with a bubble or live table.
It will never go over big on internet craps boards, why?
because no one has figured out a way to scam money off of it.
Craps boards mainly exist because many people associated with them, in one form or another profit or help their buddies profit off of the board.
Its quite clear, just looking at this board, all the self claimed experts who make bold claims of Im the best there is, I know it all, they will rip apart the bubble every chance they get. They cant find their edge, or make any claims about playing it. (because video claims to back up their bullshit stacks of chips and stories of suites and taking the casinos for big bucks are possible with the bubble, so they all stand clear of it)
My bubble I play, is 15 dollar minimum, and that aint small potatoes to the average craps player. From what I read on this board, most players prefer 5 dollar tables.
You cannot overcome the house edge with betting strategy alone...
We have a couple who say they are net ahead...KKJ for one.
Variance allows for wins. He also plays a VERY tight game 1.41% and odds and isn't screwing around with hardways, fire bets and other sucker prop bets.
No one is playing this game as a source of income....a living.
Is that across the board?...many bubble craps here will have higher pass/don't pass minimums ($5) but still allow $1 place and buy bets.
Is the $15 min for all bets?...minus prop bets ($1)
you have no way of knowing that no one is playing the game as a source of income
there are a bunch who do
I don't know who this KKJ ,is but I will say this , if he is grinding and banging his head on those 1.41 percenters he ain't winning much
It would be interesting to know how much better he would do if he played the part of the table where the money is
I have been on this form a month typing back and forth with TD and he finally said something that I agree with , it actually sounded intelligent
"YOU CAN'T OVERCOME THE HOUSE EDGE WITH BETTING STRATEGY ALONE"
then he screws it up and goes right back to his world of delusion
disappointing , for a minute there I thought he was finally starting to gain an understanding
Well at least that's a start , maybe there is hope for him
I do know who kkj is, I have played with him in vegas, in both venetian and casino royale, and I can tell you he plays the tightest game and I did not see him deviate at all. not that I remember. And Im guessing while he doesn't spread a lot of money on different bets, his losses are less than anyone else that plays in his money bracket because he sticks to the lowest HA bets.
all line bets and place bets are 15 min.
you can play all the prop bets for 1 dollar each AS LONG as you have a minimum of 15 dollars on the table each roll.
Ive seen people trying to bet like this, and they didn't realize that the machine rolls every 25 or so seconds and then the screen flashes something like minimum bet required, no bet. If you want to bet one dollar on 15 different bets, you have to be able to make those bets in 1.5 seconds each.
Its the most expensive minimum betting bubble Ive ever seen.
All the interblok games Ive played up through Michigan, the min bets were 3 dollars.
the bubble you play, Ive seen most of them from 1-2 dollar mins.Aruze gaming.
I know you don't believe it , that doesn't make you all bad
you can basically place betting strategy into two categories
one for the skilled player
one for the novice
One group worries about how much they can lose
the other group focuses on how much they can win
