that's going on here, and for the most part don't care. That stated, it's my belief that DI is more about avoiding 7 and getting a long or longer than average roll. Am I missing something?

There is no war....Only discussions, & disagreements. Sure, There's a lot of name-calling, & jockeying for position, but....( at least with ME)...it's all in fun.
The guy's that I argue & disagree with....I'd just as soon sit down & have a cup of coffee, or share a meal with.
Listen....just because some people disagree with Jame's claims concerning influence, wins, etc....IT doesn't make him a bad person.
Simply a person with Grandiose DELUSIONS...that's all. Lol

A person would have to be absolutely insane to get bent all out of shape over Craps, betting, Dice Influencing beliefs, etc.
However, when posters start with the PERSONAL stuff.....well...that's another story.
As I said once before....if a person allows a forum member to " get under their skin, & it affects their play in the Casinos ( Negatively), then....it might simply be time to.....MOVE ON!

Regarding opinions.....they do/can, & will change from time to time. NOTHING is ingrained about the game of craps EXCEPT for the Math, & the house edge.....although Dice Influencers claim to sway the Math in their favor consistently enough to make craps a profitable venue.

Listen....just because a poster calls " Bullshit" on another poster's comments doesn't mean that there's any hatred involved.....at least I certainly hope not.

I think another shortcoming for a few posters is that they are just " mean-spirited"! I will continue to call Bullshit on what I (believe) to be UNTRUE, but I'd rather hate the post as opposed to the poster.
Some of you guys are so mean-spirited that if ya make a nasty comment towards someone..... in fun, & then on the next post ya put a " like" on the poster that ya just said was full of Shit......you're categorized as a " Wishy washy" person.

Case in point....I'll holler bullshit on every one of Jame's or whoever's posts, but if I feel that the "bullshitter" posts something of substance...I'll gladly put a " Like".
That's just the way that things go!

Is it surprising that Peace People do not understand warfare?

    No wars here.

Have you ever lived in a neighborhood that had a little yippy yap dog that comes running out trying to bite your tires or ankles every time you drive or walk by?

That's what we have here. He the one wearing a cowboy hat. If he can't stir the shit pot on his own he calls his buds. A pack of yippy yaps can dream up all kinds of shit to dig up.

When you ignore them they run in circles around your ankles, digging up old shit from years ago to try to goad you into barking back at them.

DI is more about avoiding 7 and getting a longer than average roll.

    Spot on!
Avoid the 7 as much as you can, but if they must come, may they arrive at the right time.

That's fine and dandy, but does that crap have to happen in every thread?

Disagreements, debates and dialogue on the viability of DI is a subject that is a part of every craps forum (where allowed). This forum is completely open, no moderation...so you will hear from both sides.

We only have one poster, who shall remain nameless....who continues to dig up threads from years ago and repost them for the sole purpose to reignite old battles. Trolling at its finest. That poster also continues to implore the "my way or no way" thought process on craps.

If there is a war....you know who keeps lobbing the shells.

My attitude is everyone should play craps however they want to play. There is no right or wrong. There's only one guy here pounding "you're playing the wrong way" in just about every thread. Tiresome. He thinks it is his "duty" to enlighten the "mis-guided".

Name names , I do , get the truth out there
I re post old threads to remind people who said what
Remind people who has posted that "YOU ARE GOING TO LOSE"
Some on here post ways that have proven to be winners
others call BS and reinforce their opinion
that any thought of winning is futile
That's not just an attitude , you encourage it , If that type
of game is a proven loser I think people who know that
should say so to give a player other options
To not do so helps no one
This is the silliest crap of all and you post it constantly
If a person is making bets , playing in a fashion that
produces only losses , THERE IS NOTHING RIGHT
with that strategy IT IS WRONG and a person
should be extended the courtesy of being offered an alternative
that is exactly why they are here , to find some
    positive alternative
YOUR DAMNED RIGHT I DO and that should be on the mind
of every seasoned player on this
and every other forum on the internet
That is why people get on these things , to hear / see what
seasoned players have to say about the game
You and your group trying to block ideas that are different
than yours is what is mean spirited , disingenuous
and a total disservice to anyone seeking help
There are those on this forum who genuinely offer tried and true
hints in an effort to help only to have the folks from
"GROUP OF INSIDERS" start up with their claims of "BS"
It serves no purpose WHAT SOEVER
    and prevents many from
receiving information they want and need

I'm with you PeacePeople. Joined this forum and started playing about a year ago. Occasionally get some good advice. Still experimenting with grips and releases and set-ups, but yes, my goal is to avoid the 7 and extend my rolls, while having fun and making $$$.

I would encourage all of you to get all the information
you can get , try it on your table at home find what works
use it , discard what doesn't
Like anything else in the world , there are things that
work and some things that don't
Like anything else in the world there are things / ways to play
that are RIGHT and some that are simply WRONG
Do what works discard the rest
