Lately I've been going to the table with 4-5 betting strategies. I'm at the point where I cannot be successful as a one trick pony.

If my primary betting strategy sucks, then I may defer to one of the others and I thought I'd share one of the others here.

Watch for a bit to make sure the table isn't ice cold and don't worry cause they won't run out of 6/8's.

    1. Bet $12 each on section 8.
    2. If the 8 hits press to $24.
    3. Whichever hits next make the 6 look like $48 and everything else down.
    4. If the 6 hits make it look like a $100 5.
    5. If the 5 hits take it all down. You should profit either $238 or $224 depending on the order the 6/8 come in at.

    I like to go 8-8-6-5, or 8-6-6-5, or 6-6-8-9 or 6-8-8-9.
I am looking for 3 hits on 6/8 and finish with either a 5/9.
Good luck and I hope to hear some success stories soon and remember, he who hesitates is lost.

A few years ago, the several times I tried moving the hitting place bets around onto other numbers with increasingly larger bets (I believe this was called the military march) really only showed one small problem:

I couldn't get the first fucking hit.

Lost consistently a number of times trying this, and have abandoned even the thought of it, but hey, we are all different.

Good luck with your go at things NA. Let us know how it works.

I know. This is a variation of the military march and by keeping 3 of your 4 hits to the 6/8 you are giving away as little as possible. By also placing both numbers to start with you increase your chances but of course you increase your risk too. The military march may call for one number at a time and also working the outside numbers. If you have to start with a 4/10 then it makes it tough. I have hit it once each of my last two sessions. One to walk out with a profit and the other to cut my losses and fight another day. I buy in for $200 usually. Don't give up on me KJ4. If someone gets past the pso on their 3rd point have a go. That way you won't play it that often.

Craps today. Shooter gets past the pso on his third point so in I come at $12 each 6/8. Short story even shorter, 8-6-6-5 boo-yah!
Thanks very much. Had two more goes at it without success, doubled up and did the Harold Holt.

In this hemisphere, what you did is not the Harold Holt. It’s called The TableTop. Smart move on your part.

After just under two years in office, Holt disappeared while swimming at Cheviot Beach, Victoria, in rough conditions. His body was never recovered, and he was declared dead in absentia; his disappearance spawned a number of conspiracy theories. Holt was the third Australian prime minister to die in office, and was succeeded by John McEwen on an interim basis and then by John Gorton. His death was commemorated in a number of ways, among them by the establishment of the Harold Holt Memorial Swimming Centre.

Sure, he "drowned" in rough seas.
Anyway, in the context I used it, Harold Holt is Aussie rhyming slang for bolt.

Actually Harold Holt = Bolt. If you actually say someone did the Holt people would look at you and think this guy is a couple of quid short.

Got it. Good. Now you're cooking with gas.

Happy Birthday to all the Horses btw....

Sounds like what they say in Texas. Is this part of the Aussie citizenship test?

Are you familiar with an American term bidding farewell, AMF?

August 1st is the standard birthdate used for all horses. It has something to do with the horse racing industry where they need to use a common date to classify horses into their age groups, or something like that. I'm sure google can provide a better answer than me.

Look at you learning all this new stuff!

If that farewell term contains some Mexican in it, then yes I am familiar with it.

The only reason I’m here. Thanks for the education.

Yes, it contains the Spanish language.

Are you also familiar that it’s a common saying amongst bikers here, meant with affection?

Mexican/Spanish it's all Greek to me.
I knew the term wasn't meant in a derogatory way but was not aware it was commonly used amongst bikers. Now I'm learning stuff!

Yes, and six and a half hours pacific time less what it took me to respond. I am aware of your time zones I was just getting in early. Perhaps if you borrowed Lid's time shifting device? Does that thing go forwards in time or only backwards?

You’ll need to ask Lid how that device works? I know it’s in the shop a lot for repairs. There might be an element of risk, traveling in such a device.

As for bikers using AMF, it’s related to when the corporation AMF which manufactured bowling equipment, purchased Harley Davidson back in the 70s. They proceeded to build some of the worst bikes and almost destroyed Harley’s reputation in a few short years. There are many people with AMF Harley’s sitting in garages and barns who can’t find anyone to sell them to, and you can’t ride the damn things cause they won’t stay running. Basically, they’re lawn ornaments. So when a biker says AMF, he’s saying goodbye to you and the company that almost destroyed Harley Davidson. I’ll wait for the duck to correct me. Although he’s been absent lately. Did he fly down under?

    This is Barney,

Even the Eagleseyes knows time shifting device can only go backwards since forwards hasn't happened yet, duh. However, it is broken due to faulty equipment from the Linaway. But I digresses. If forum personage calls and makes orders of the amazing LID DI skunkhat we will toss in a box a copy of the amazing NY best selling LID craps book, "The Game of Craps" for the amazing price of just $200. This is onetime special offer and personage needs to call 1-800- Barney in the next 20 minutes, no question asked before the price goes back in time to normal price of $2,999.01 for these amazing DI products.

    Thank you very much

The duck has not flown by. Last I saw he was tackling more serious and current events with 777.

I do not understand. If the time device can only travel backwards, then once there how can you return forwards if it hasn't happened yet in the backwards that you would be in? Therefore I contend that the forwards has happened.
I'll get back to you regards the skunk hat and book.

I have absolutely no idea but it seems heading to the beach down under is a very risky business.

    This is Barney,

The LID developed the time shifting device based on the science of the movie Interstellar. Without trying to get very, very, most complicated and confusing personage such as the Eagleyes or the James Hall; go to time 2:28 for brief explanation of most fundamental element of his device. If trying to use the science of the movie "Back to the Future" (such as the Linaway) one is doomed to failure.

    Thank you very much

Thanks Barney I think I'll quit while I'm behind. This stuff is way too complicated for me. I'll just carry on with my little wagering strategy here that I've decided to call Mike's step ladder.

Whatever happened to Big Mike anyway?

    This is Barney,

I used the LIDs suppercomputer to review security videos of casinos and personages homesteads and it showed Big Mike and Little Mike using Mike's ladder to help him with his homestead chores:
