I've been lurking for a month or so reading what I can about all this craps hubbaloo. I started out as a blackjack player (+1/-1) but it would get too boring and I hated getting snaked by grandma sitting third base splitting queens when dealers got a 3 and I squeaked a 15, damn grandma not playing with the table.

So now I want to play with the table and the shooter.

Anyways, I plan to hit Vegas in the next few months to experiment with HW vs 3v vs 2v... in the meantime I'm looking to order some quality dice and figure out a space to practice.

This place seems like a great community of like minded individuals so I hope to stick around for a while, learn what I can, and contribute what I may. Cheers!

Welcome, Oregon is a beautiful state, I visit there often.

I can't offer much in the way of dice setting, influence and such....but there are plenty of posters here that should be able to offer you any help you might request!

    Welcome Oregon,

It seems like you have the same beginnings that I do. I started as a card-counter want-to-be but all my friends played craps so I transitioned over.

The first few times playing the game, I would notice that there is always one person who seems to "play around" with the dice and then throw it in a certain way, and that's when I became interested in dice setting and influencing.

Be sure to read all the free material that is out there on the internet. Practice to get confident in your toss and set. When you hit the casino, you will realize that the dice will behave randomly. Some days with your set, you are spot on. Other days, you seven out with such regularity that people play the Don't when it's your turn.

My best advise is to read A LOT. Have fun but don't pay for a class to teach you about Dice Influence.
