Learning how to hedge your bet is the best strategy in Craps IMO and yes, my opinion does stink.

I have learned to Hedge and it is one of the best strategies out there.
I invested some money to learn it but I think it is well worth it.
The person who taught me disappeared. (He warned Casino was looking for him)

He did say if casino is honest, I would make good profit.

If casino is not honest, I would lose all my money. So far I am (3 - 1) since I met him.

My next test is at Las Vegas. Will keep you updated.

    Such kind words.

Now can you explain to me why hedge would not work? or it would be for only Females?

I didn't see any female craps player hedge bets.

I am not sure if you are in the same page as I am but can you kindly explain what you know of it?

Elementary my dear Watson; Instead of one bet facing the house advantage you now have two or three. Usually they are real high vig bets like Hardways or hoppers.

You don't need to bet on Hardways or hoppers.
It seems like your knowledge of hedge betting is different than mine.
Mathematically it is the best way to win and I have seen it and done it.

How many times have you gone to play on craps for more than 6 hours per trip and win 3 out of 4 consecutive trips?
This was done on my first 4 trips after learning Hedging.

Hey.....we're just half pullin' your leg and kicking some sand.

    But 'D' is right.

If you play by 'the book' and want to reduce the HA , don't hedge.

However, for absolute sure, you can play any ol' way you want and if you win, you were right that night.

Winning 3 out of 4 trips ain't bad.

I will be in Vegas for some time so I am going to test this strategy little bit more.

My mentor did tell me I want to stay invisible or the outcome won't be pretty.

I am not sure how I can stay invisible since his strategy stands out than normal plays.

Every bet on the table has a house advantage. If you make a bet with a high house advantage and hedge it with a bet with a low house advantage, I guess you can improve your outcome - i.e. reduce your expected long term losses.

But in any short term situation, (and even 6 or 8 hours is still considered short term) you can win by making any bets if the normal variance of the dice happen to be tilted the way of your bets.

And I believe that the person who taught you this system did make money - from teaching people the system, not by using the system

    DiceController -

1st off - we need to level the playing field -

The correct phrase / terminology is -

" Opinions are like a$$holes - Everbody has one - and Most of them stink " -

    NOT - " my opinions are shit " -

Although, you might be correct up to an extent - just kidding -

Give my a shout next time you plan to go to AC - and give my regards to Su and the new baby !

Happy belated, Father's Day, to you !

From the 3 wins and 1 loss, I came out a winner even after paying for the system.

The real test is Vegas and I am planning more than my normal take to AC.

I could have bought a brand new Lexus cash with some of the losses in AC when I was young.

Personally, I prefer the variation "Opinions are like assholes, everybody has one and nobody wants to hear yoyrs."
Not that that has anything to do with craps, just trying to add a little depth.

If you don't mind the question, "What kind of Craps System did you purchase?".

    Thanks,

It's Hedging and I am currently reading on the last hedging thread from this forum.

It seems like it is different than what they were mentioning "hedge your bet...".

I won a fire bet while wearing an orange short. $5000. I never won that much before. I wore it the next two times I played and won then too.

Then the next three times I wore the shirt, I lost.

The shirt is back in my normal rotation now.
