We were invited Sunday to borgata with friends
    We aren't going
But it turns out my wife wants to go Greenville South Carolina
I looked it up last night and turns out it's 2 or less hours drive from Murphy and Cherokee
My daughter feels if we go and get a rapid test when we get home she would be ok with it
So week after thanksgiving I finally get to hit some tables and or bubbles
Even my wife is ok with it by then as long as no big spikes of virus in that area
That will be almost a year since I've played at a live table
    I'm fucking thrilled

Cold weather, no top down? I thought you said you had 11, inches? Now you listen to me, it does not get cold enough, to not let the top down, not anywhere. Get a damned scarf, let the top down, and show us your "yankee".

OK man, I've been working on your route, and figuring for max casino time. Take I-95 south to Petersburg Va, then I-85 south to Greensboro NC. From there I-40 west to Asheville NC, drop the old lady off as you cross under I-26, she should be able to hitch a ride to Greenville from there, in 2-3 hours tops. From there it's only about 45 miles to Harrah's. When the old lady hitches back from Greenville, have her wait under the I-26 bridge, and give you a call. You should be able to get there in about an hour and a half, and then the trip home, is the opposite of the trip down. This plan should net you an extra day at the tables, AND as a bonus, should relieve you of the stressful and strenuous dutys of sexual servicing, at least for a while. If you need any more assistance, you know where to find me.

Nah I want her at casino with me
I save on tons of tip money
She takes the bags to the room
    Unpacks
    Goes out to get food
Gets the car if it's raining ou

I have to contact casino and several hotels to see what protocol is set in that location
Don't know by then if they will let ny state residents into hotel
    Not sure about quarantine restrictions

I'll tell you what, if they turned you down, you'd have every right to be offended. They let people bring their damned dogs into that casino.

for the record, I don't recall seeing an dog in harrahs Cherokee over 3 day stay, unless it was a seeing eye dog.
I did see some woman who should have been on all fours.

so today my wife hits me with a new story. shes scheduled eye surgery the week before I booked the trip. nurse told her yesterday she needs to come in following day and one week later, so I said, ok, push it back a few days, but then the woman she wants to mee t cant be there.....I don't need this shit....I want a fucking dice table and I want it soon. if she cant figure ou a schedule, I told her Im up either to foxwoods/Mohegan sun and if I fee ambitious dellage upstate.....I just want to play. im going thru withdrawal.

    This is Barney

Just hold outs a little longer, maybe by end of this week, before going to casino since the Trump said vaccine could be ready in mid October although he doesn't specifically say what year.

No, I'm not joking. They let people bring their dogs into the casino. I'm not talking service dogs, I'm talking Piks, poodles, chihuahuas, I think I've even seen people with Cats. A dirty, stinkin, "Service-Cat", :D Liman!

Oh, the dogs are all well behaved, and one of them was an excellent Black jack player. The Cat, was the best "bubble D.I." I've ever witnessed.

2020 sucks for most people. its a killer year for me, killer, meaning, everything has died, all my plans, everything.

been having a sore muscle in my rib/abdominal area, been babying it, taking it easy, looking around at hotel offers, ready to go by early as sunday since we decided to go before wifes surgery.
last night, came up to bed after I had enough of football, I sneezed, the fan was on, I guess some pollen , whatever, it felt like I was stabbed with a huge knife or whacked with a baseball bat into my ribs. I couldn't catch my breath, couldn't stand straight.....incredible pain. turns out, (I ran to doctor this morning, did not sleep last night), I tore the cartiledge off from the rib.
it has a name, something like costochordan separation, not sure, but it sounds like that....too lazy to look it up.....Im down for at least 3-4 weeks. unreal shit. I feel like mush on Bronx tale, if it wasn't for bad luck, Id have no luck.

    Sorry to hear Liman
Sneezing is horrible. I hate it. Hope you heel fast and no more sneezing. I had planned to go to Diamond Joes. When I got to the house with the Sil's from Mich it was apparent everyone was freeked out about being together, even though we had all been tested recently. There were three people there who I am not certain about.
I have not been overly concerned but these people insisted on watching local news broadcasts and of course CNN. The fear mongering was intense. The news were making a case for infection in rural areas everywhere. There was no way if I went to toss the dice that I would be allowed back in the house. These girls are Slot machine rats and they were not going anywhere. We had our surprise party. Spent time together and did very little else, because of the news on covid. Sucked.

covid is not going away....its a virus....we just have to learn how to deal with it at this point.

my fucking doctor, time to replace him, he was warning me, don't get covid, you have all the comorbidities, however its spelled, yeah, and? I said to him, hey, I had a good run, no complaints, if its meant to be, no one can stop it.

he then asked my wife if I have life insurance, he wants in on it.

    I need a redo for 2020
it was a bad start I agreed to knee replacement xmas week of 2019
since then its all been downhill

a friend of ours, my friend for over 50 years, my wife knows him for almost 60 years.
anyway, his dad is turning 97 in two weeks. for many years we went to AC with him, his brother, his dad, and us, to celebrate....I think last time we went was when he turned 93.
after that, we didn't care to go there anymore, shithole and all AC is now.
his father still wants to play one of those 3 card poker games, but his vision is failing, but hell play if his other son will sit with him and help him out.
he told me today, yeah, this year sucks for him also, he hasn't played cards in a casino since march.

    gotta like a 96 y/o who misses a casino.

I told him as soon as he thinks its safe again, and states open up without restrictions, count us in.....and I told him pick out the best steakhouse in AC, cause Im letting his son pay.
