U haven't been to Calif then. The traffic here is really pretty bad. Especially during the times of 7am and 3pm. Also in Vegas the "spaghetti bowl" seems to be always crowded. Just sayin.

On average, probably ALOT better than the experts, considering the 12 yr old will be on only a few, low HE, good paying (when they hit) bets as opposed to sitting on six numbers concurrently.

Sure, there will be times when the all-across experts will be raking it in. No one denies this. What some do seem not to understand is that, when across, there will be plenty of times a load of chips will be lost, rather than won.

koko, of course i could be wrong but i think you are missing---but only slightly---the long island man's basic point, which is,

bank craps is a game of pure luck
sure, some basic craps math knowledge and other knowledge (knowledge, NOT skill) would be helpful and, further, you have correctly understood that liman has granted this to his 12 year old.

this, however does not mean that his youth would necessarily keep exclusively to the lowest edge bets any more than would the grizzled veterans...your commentary on the "details" is certainly not out of line but its stating i opine does miss somewhat his central point.

OTOH you are correct that his 12 year old would do "ALOT better" than many old veterans...lol

his youth can do just as well as the 50 year bank craps veteran because at bottom it is all luck.

please do not get your back up about any of this...no offense whatsoever is intended by this mild, almost irrelevant, critique...clarification only is intended.

certainly liman can correct me if i am wrong about his main point.

I sure miss the "original" UCDT........he was a blast. Truly one of a kind.

I know for a fact Howard gave a private lesson to someone claiming he was the "dice" thug. I know cause I dropped HRR off at the dealer school the morning of the lesson. I'm still kicking myself in the a$$ for not going upstairs to meet this guy, but it was a drop and run. He (UCDT) insisted that Howard be the only one present at the lesson and no one was to know who he was.

Later that Sunday when HRR got back to AC, he did tell me that the person who he gave the lesson to was a great shooter to start with.........very experienced.

As for Howard being the UCDT on this board......I sincerely doubt it.

We laughed on numerous occasions about the crazy stuff UCDT was posting. About him wanting to have a "shootoff" against Dom and Frank, the urinals at Borgata etc. All classics in my book!

I just can't picture Howard ever ranting and raving like UCDT.

ofcourse its a game of luck and sticking to low house advantage bets. gut feelings don't work well for craps.

Table full of 12 year old kids vs. a table full of proclaimed DI.

    Interesting case study.

Each participant gets $200 to gamble with.

3 go arounds with dice each. Interesting. Might be fun.

Tally up the dollars and see where it stands.

Or have the DI make any wagers they want. The kids must make the same exact wagers. Then it becomes a true test of who is "best" with the dice. Tally up the dollars.
