There are so many times I see a person walk up to the bubble and make a pass line bet after the point has been established. Every fiber of my being wants to tell them place it or buy it.

I have often wanted to advise someone also, but learned from experience that most people don't want your advice. "You play your game, I'll paly mine!". :)

I did it one time...a long while back and got a funny look like "mind your own business"....

    After that...that's what I do.

If someone was to ask...I would offer.

That's normally what i do but on a $50 bet I couldn't help myself. This player was asking the dealers for help but they went mute on him when he made decisions like that. .

Megamillions will be changing the game to "better compete against PowerBall". The odds of winning the jackpot will likely be worse, but the jackpot will start at @$40M (instead of $15M). The price of a ticket will be $2 (currently $1).

    http://www.megamillions.com/news-re...40m-bigger-average-jackpots-more-millionaires

A few years ago when the jackpot for one of the lotteries was $400M, someone did a back-of-the-envelope calculation and concluded it would be almost impossible to buy tickets with all possible number combinations (to ensure a "win", no duplicate/missing picks) in time for the next drawing. At most there are 4 days between picks. Even if the jackpot was sufficiently large to theoretically support such an attempt and if tickets for all possible number combinations could be purchased in a timely manner, there's still a possibility of multiple winners. Then there is that issue of taxes on lottery winnings...

And for a good reason too. If a machine pays back 100%, in theory, there is a trade off. My guess would be that you would have to draw to hands that would be very hard to "break-up, and this would give you a better chance at the max payoff, but nobody would do it.

Yes, there should have been a line all the way around the block. If nobody's playing, then there is a "problem", word would get around in the VP crowd. There is NO 100% return, without a "catch" and you would have to know that. So what's the "game guys". Yeah. .

I would have been tempted to do the same thing if the dealers were being silent about it, most places the dealers will actually reach over and push the "put" bet to the back line to make it place or buy without having to be asked anything.

Mssthis1, I hear yuh, it sucks when the dealers dont help when they could it comes down to human nature that crew is there to collect a check dont give a #$it about you the customer, yeah I know you should no the game your playing, when I tended bar and a customer would order a high ball tall and make it strong I would suggest you are paying for a shot of booze if you dont want to pay more money for the booze and you want it strong than you better stick to having it in a high ball glass (less mix ingredient) takes 3 seconds if the customer says no well you tried when you are at the table got take care of you first no one else will usually when ever I would learn a lesson it was always thru the wallet and thats the best lesson to learn..cause you never forget ;)

Since I don't even make any bets after a point has been established, I wait one more roll of the dice, so I would not have lost very much. Just my original pass line bet. But in this photo lots of point 7 outs. Just sayin.

Yes, the volatility on 10/6 DDB poker is higher than any other VP game and yet is one of the best to play because the 4 aces with a kicker happens more often than a Royal. Anyone who plays the game of VP seriously should know this before they take a seat and that is the caveat. Most people including myself don't take the time to learn proper strategy for DDB. Only one I know proper strategy for is deuces wild

You're a good person, yacraps. I'll be watching State Penn at Ohio State this weekend. Meh on the World Series. It's college football season, lol.

The table limit's on the bubble here are better than the live table. $1 to $3000. Table is $5 or $10 to $1000.
