Got here today Mix up with room but got the 1400 sq foot suite for 50 bucks a night 3 tables going 2 25 and 1 15 min dropped 300 before I'm too beat to play right now spent all day yesterday with friends in mystic seaport at art show then downtown mystic to another art show Then mystic pizza for dinner then hung out I'm washed out Getting lunch then I'll head down Here's a pic or two of suite btw we can see the fox tower and there is a zip line from fox tower roof and I can't see where the people end up The zip line has been pretty busy today
Dropped a total of 800 today While I hit many numbers there were few points made and it was a slow grind of my chips Tomorrow is another day
Killed it most of yesterday afternoon and last night was a great few hours My 8 was up To 240 and I had 100 on my nine I'm up over 3500 after a tough first day but I'm glad I haven't lost my mojo once again and understand I don't give a shit how people hold or throw dice but Foxwoods is infested with dice controllers with slow deliberate hand and finger manipulations on dice and sometimes I want to reach over and smack them and yell throw the fucking dice already And then they 7 out within 2 rolls It's a farce because none of them have any confidence in their skills as they bet table mins with no odds anyway They slow the pace down to snail speed and never hit a fucking point one old guy here who I see every time I come is a really slow dice setter and last night he had a great roll He was hitting 8's like they were the only numbers on the dice yet he never bet the 8 Bet what the dice are giving you! Not what you think you should be hitting fuddruckers and Panera is gone Hell's Kitchen opened and wahlberger is due to open soon they are also building a new casino here not sure why mynwife started off on but has Ben getting killed she's down over 400 comps have been good this trip I bet 2 bucks on pass line with 5 odds for the dealer every time I roll so I'm guessing the pit is liberal with comps for me Most of our food has been comped We had lunch in sugar shack or whatever It sucked
I didnt want to leave tables yesterday. every time I bought in I won, every time except last night right before I went up for the night. my wife was hungry so around 6.30 we went into guy fieris place in foxwoods. I just wanted a sandwich or burger, so pub style was ok. this is the second time in my life I went to one of his recos or his named restaurant. neither was impressive. I got a p;ulled pork sandwich, and if guy F thinks his pulled pork is great, he needs to fly down south and taste some real p;ulled pork. shame on him for letting his crew hand out that shit. dried up, flavorless, but really what bothered me the most was for a 12 ounces glass of soda water, not soda, just plain seltzer, they charged 4.50 plus tax. 90 percent of places we go never charge for seltzer, and if they do, its a 2.50 max charge. we wont be going back there anytime soon. my wife wasnt impressed with her food either.(she did say the mac and cheese was ok) anyway, I walked her back to the suite, she had enough, hung out and ran back down for one more session. after 40 minutes or so of up and down, I counted my rack. 1050, I had bought in for 1000. I used to only buy in for 600 but now I put up a grand only becasue maybe it gets me a little more as far as good will comps, not that Im going to risk a grand on each session. only once before did I take a grand and bet it on one roll, in AC once. so last night I decided, since I was up nicely, 500 is not going to ruin my trip. bet 50 pass, number was an 8. took 250 odds. bet 50 come, I think it was a 9, bet 150 odds, then next roill the die slid out of the shooters hand and shot off sideways, it was 7 out. the shooter complained vehemently, for lack of a better word, claimed that the dice fell out he never shot the second die. pit boss went back and forth for a minute, I waited just to make sure, but they didnt budge. 7 out so I was done. figures....all day Im hitting numbers left and right, my first large pass line bets boom, 2 rolls and out. traffic was pretty good getting home, but going north into conneticut, it was a nightmare. bumper to bumper in several spots, would turn a 3 hour trip from long island to foxwoods into a 5 hour trip. since this trip was a nice winner for me, I might plan a solo trip to parx in northern philly within a few weeks. my wife is the main bab ysitter, so if she wont get pissed at me, Ill go alone. I notice the past year or so Im enjoying live tables again, more than bubbles. noit sure why, but Im guessing because minus the one bad trip down south, Ive been doing great at live tables. good luck everyone.if anyone is here anymore
i wanted toi mention something, as Im sure many have dealt with this also. tuesday, I walked over to a table. there was a reserve placard on the rack so I asked the dealer if I can go in right of the placard, she shook her head no. so I went to the end of the table, pit boss waved me off said this side is closed. a moment later, a guy walks over, not sure what he had in chips, but he had more 5000 dollars chips then I keep in red chips. and when he started to play, I again walked over to other spot not anywhere close to him, but his side, and dealer said no. so loudly, I said, there are no spots on the other tables, why does this table get shut down? my money all of the sudden is no good for you? I put the pit boss on the spot, he knows me, and sees me playing there for 2 straight days, and Im a green chip player. meanwhile the rich guy is getting murdered, one point seven out after another, I asked again, he shrugged his shoulders, so I got the attention of the shift boss? made him come over, and I know he didnt want any part of this, but asked him, and he said, we normally reserve an entire table for certain shooters, and I said yeah, I get it, but you have no other space, and why does he need the entire side? does he shit in his pants and smell? the shooter gave me a nasty glance, fuck him and his 100 grand buy in, at a craps table, everyone is equal, we the small betters keep the casinos in business, not the whales. I did not back down, the guys at the other end of the table, were shaking their heads in agreement with me, but pit boss never let me in. I told him, ok, Ill stay here till I leave thursday, b ut I can get a fucking room any casino I want, and as long as you are shunning me, I will gladly post online to let any craps player I know if you have some rich asshole(again, the pink shirt khaki pants douche shot me an angry glance, like he was going to say anything. and I wsnt mad at him, but if he was a decent person, he could have said, yeah, play, hes ok over there) so Im not sure if foxwoods will be in my immediate future. problem is they do comp me and I get those 1400 sq foot suites which my wife loves for next to nothing during weekdays. moving on, I walked over to other table as after a 7 out IU guess, half the table left, and then the other table emptied out also, and the rich asshole then walks over to the other table. and again, they put the reserve sign on his side. I picked up my buy in, and walked right over and put my chips in rack, moved the reserve sign to the right, as I was one right of stick, and richie rich was at hook, noone said anything. good thing, because I would have told the shooter with 100 grand, he forced me off that table, no fucking way Im leaving this one unless security removes me physically. what fucking bullshit. they have alot of dice tables unused, let them hire a crew for him, he was gone in 15 minutes anyway, lost a yacht, and moved on. once more, I get the casinos have to cater to people like that, but any decent person could see Im a standup person and not someoine who will invade their privacy or pay much attention to what he does. fucking new england snob, all the way. bald headed dealer, wont mention name, whispered to me a short while later, you are right, dont know why they didnt let you play. sure, the dealers love me, I bet passline 2 bucks with 5 or 6 odds every time i shoot, and I was making points like a madman, so they cleaned up, 100s of dollars in tips from me for 2 straight days. ok, my rant is over, probably noone readin gthis, but it just p;isses me off. foxwoods should never treat any player with anything other than respect, especially me since I never b ust their balls or moan about this or that. I might get ticked off at things, but I dont harp nor do I ever upset anyone else. at least a dozen guys have played craps with me from this site, and the only time I called out a dealer was at casino royale when some 75 year old dealer had somethjing nasty to say when I was with kokojoe. I think it had something to do with they were going to back up the dice becasue they skipped joe, and when they didnt, the dealer said something stupid, so I opened my mouth. oh, and 30 years ago at flamingo hilton, I was teaching my buddy how to play, and he hit his p;oint and celebrated a bit loud, and the young dealer said, calm down, you only won 10 dpollars, b ut my buddy exploded at him, and I had to pull him away, then I got into it with the pit boss, who asked the dealer to leave, then we were asked to leave. I went back to flamingo once more in 2012 with my children, but will never go b ack there again if I get to vegas
this was a great winner for me. up near 4 grand.if I lost big again, after the disastrous biloxi and murp;hy trip, Id be avoiding casinos for a while. my wife dropped close to 450 or so on slots. we figured out on way home we also got around 160 dollars in food comps, and had another 40 on card, but it wont go anywhere I thought we had more in food comps, but thats that the only mistake we made was staying in a chain hotel on sunday night so we could hang out with our friends. We should have taken a regular king room comp at foxwoods, and my wife would have received a comp and we could have gotten them a room also. at the time of booking, I didnt realize I had an extra nights comp.they wanted the art show in mystic sunday, and mystic pizza sunday night, then a quilting store first thing monday morning before they went home and we went to foxwoods. I cant avoid quilting stores, my wife wants to visit every store we come across. besides, its alot cheaper letting her shop; in fabric store then it is in playing slots at casinos and thats it for a bit, in 2 weeks we are back to babysitting our 6 month old granddaughter. and grandson if he has to skip school. if I need a fix Ill shoot over to parx for a night. my wife wont be happy, but if I need a fix she will understand.
I dont know when foxwoods will actually open new casino and I believe new hotel they are building, but when its finished, it might be the last time Id go there. my wife loves that suite, its her favorite room out of all the hotels except maybe for biloxi beau rivage panaramic rooms, she prefers foxwoods, and even though she lost, she claims she plays so much, unlike other casiinos where she gets wiped out within a hour or so each day. we are thinking about cherokee xmas week. its all depending on weather at the time.we can get a babysitter on dec 21 nor 22 and be in cherokee xmas day, with a stopover in bristol virginia to visit hard rock casino to see if its improved at all.and ofcourse one quick stop in weaverville nc one day since my wife does alot of business with that quilting store down there im 69 years old, im morbidly obese(I have lost 15 pounds recently changing my bad habits and working on losing a shitload more weight), I never know what shape Ill be in to do long road trips at any given time.
Im hoping xmas week I can get one of the guys from georgia or closer to meet me at cherokee. I enjoy have a fellow crapster at tables with me. and if they have a nice credit account with cherokee, they can take me and my wife out to lunch on e day. Im pretty sure cherokee will comp most of our nights there in standard king room in mountain tower.
