I'll get there around 11 am. I usually end up at Rainmaker (smoke-free). Usually $5 or $10 tables during the day. Anyone else planning to be around that day?

Thanks! I sure hope so! I have had some moderate success at their tables. A lot less bouncy than my "home" casino.

the few times I was there, I never noticed any area that much better with less smoke.

foxwoods is a great place, hope you win a bundle.

Id have to look at a casino layout map to see where rainmaker casino is.

I find the least amount of smoke in the early morning till around 2-3 pm.

    Thanks Liman!
I've been twice in the last year. Rainmaker is near the poker room, race bet area, and "Asian table games". It's also across from the Festival Buffet. Here is a property map. The smoke situation is only marginally better in Rainmaker, but I'll take it. I like the environment for that table (only ever seen one open at a time). Not close to slots. Allows me to hyper-focus :) Helps me stay on top of my strategy, and not get drawn into the endless prop-drain cycle. The last time I played the boxman remarked: "You're really good at this Paytheline".

the only casino I know for sure was the tower casino, since we stayed in the tower our last trip. only one table going.
we took the foxwoods bus to the other end, and walked back thru different areas and different casinos, I never noticed names of casinos.
I like the place.......my wife likes it, plenty of choices, and I believe it was 10 times odds last time I played there. (maybe it was 5 times odds, it all blends in)

Just checked out property map I never played in rainmaker, if I would have realized smoke free, maybe I would have. Grand Pequot is where I played and fox tower casino.

It did not go as well as I had hoped. I made enough for dinner, before dinner...but after dinner, I was at a net loss. But, we did have a free night at one of the hotels, and got some free gifts (a charm bracelet and a 2way fan heater- exciting stuff).

I played between three different casinos- Rainmaker (Non-smoking), Great Cedar, and Grand Pequot. The table prices fluctuated throughout the day between $5 and $10. Everything had 10x odds. But, I'm not that well bankrolled :) Rainmaker and Great Ceder both had one table open. Grand Pequot had two or three.

My favorite location there is the Rainmaker. Had been there in October. They have moved the tables around and possibly eliminated some. I've not seen the min. go over $5 in that space.

I had one roll where I hit 3 points very quickly. The most exciting part of any of my rolls was when I hopped the fives (for a buck each) and hit it twice in a row (4/1 and then 3/2). It was cool because I did not hop much and mostly wanted to give it a try.

I tried playing the dark side on one or two rolls. Lost them both. Alas.

Not sure when I'll be back.

When are you going in April?

For Pay The Line. . Thanks for your detailed report. sorry for your out come but I probably did worst the end of March at OC. The table was terrible and I kept trying to make a run of iot but totally lost. Oh, I will be back as I still haven't learned my lessons, ha ha. The weather is still below par. Oh, well no one likes a quitter, huh?

Far Out- it's actually been months since I've eeked out a win at OC. I see a lot of the same folks there when I go. Rarely do I see winners, or smiles, even. It feels like something is up. I'm sure it isn't...but maybe the universe is telling me something. I think I'm going to keep my trips to once every month or so. Maybe only when it rains :)

Well, I can't agree with you more on your OC observations. Yes, I'm not rushing back either. I will try again later and thought about the darkside bets only. May even go back to roulette for a couple spins. My car is in sick bay today.
